~thank you guys for the support I really appreciate it. I've been going through bad times like just two days ago my best friend moved away out of sudden and what scares me the most is she wanted to kill herself... So this chapter will be dedicated to her aka trinity my sister I've always wanted to have.~
-the next morning-
I wake up and yawn (there you go guys another yawn not surprising). I look beside me and Edward isn't there. Was that a dream or?... I shake my head and get dressed for breakfast.
"Hey y/n. Breakfast might be cold. You woke up late this morning what's up?" Roy puts his plate in the sink and hands me my plate.
"Nothing. I just guess its one of those mornings." I say and sit down then start eating.
"Edward went on a job. He said something about promise day." Roy gets his jacket and opens the door "I'll be at work hurry up or I'll be late on ur first day." He walks out and I sigh.
I finish eating and out of my uniform. Hmm... I don't like the jacket. I take the jacket off and I just carry it with me to roys office.
When I get there jean is there laughing with roy.
"And then he tells me to go and get a nice mustang. I laughed and said I am the best you can get." They both laugh. How was that even a joke. Like what the hell.
"Hey stop fangirling over yourselves and roy. I'm the best mustang here. It's in my blood." I sit down at my new desk and jean hands me paperwork.
"If you the best here. Have these. I'm pretty sure they are in good hands." He starts to walk out.
"Lieutenant havoc." I say angerly as he turns around sauteing me. "Go find Hawkeye."
He walks out and roy looks at me. "Damn your frightening." He gets my paperwork and sits back down at his desk.
Not too long after that riza walks in and salutes us then walks to me.
"Yes Colonel mustang?" I smile and get up and we walk out the door.
"Let's go to the library so we can talk? Shall we?" She nods and we go and sit at a table in the library.
"What happened to you? You have cuts and bruises?" She looks worried.
"I was captured by the father guy and he's what I am. A walking and talking philosophers stone." She looks at me shocked.
"So you know how to kill him? Where is he?" She grabs a book making it seem as if we were reading.
"He's under the city. No and yes he can heal quickly like me. But if he doesn't have time he can't. Just like homunculi. Their weakness is the truth and their past. Well not really but we can use it against a fee to make them turn against the father." He looks at me and smiles.
"We are getting somewhere." Anymore information I need to know?"
" greed or Ling helped me out but he wanted something in return. He wanted me and I said no but he's greed what do you expect. Also give him this. It's my thanks tell him it's from me." I hand her my watch I still have from being state alchemist and a check of 10000 dollars. She takes it and I walk away.
"Yes ma,am"
-an hour later-
"Oh your back. Here I'll teach you some stuff." Roy stands up and opens a fileing cabinet.
"Ok... I guess it won't hurt." I walk over and he tells me to sort them all by alphabetical order. I nod and I get started.
8 cabinets of files I need to sort out. What a pain. But I guess it helps out and gets him organized. He's always a mess at work.
"Your quicker than anyone." He smiles. And the phone rings. He picks it up.
"Lieutenant Colonel Mustang."
"This is the hospital. I am calling because Edward elric has been gravely injured and is here. He seems to have lost an arm and a leg. Will you please come down and bring Mrs Mustang." The receptionist hangs up.
"Oh... Y/n? We need to head to the hospital. Edward is hurt... Again." He gets up and I jump up and we go to the hospital.
"I wonder what's wrong now." We arrive and we walk into his room.
"Oh hey." Edward smiles.
"What have you done now? Tell me." I get angry.
"Some thieves took my automail. That's it." He uncovers his stumps.
"At least your ok." I hug him.
"I guess that town is not in good shape." Roy sits down in a chair. Winry walks in and throws a wrench at ed.
"EDWARD!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO BREAK IT!" She yells at him.
"Ahh! Hey what the hell winry. I have grown anyway and I didn't break it it was stollen by kids." He rubs his head where he was hit.
"Oh well... Let me use these ones I made last time I had to adjust them." She holds the limbs up and sees that she needs another inch added on.
"I'm gonna go back. I have paperwork to do and so do you y/n. Come on." Roy walks out and stares at me with cold eyes.
"Bye Edward. Love you." I kiss his forehead and run out. "Didn't have to be so mean." I say catching up to roy.
"Life's not nice. So why should I be nice? I mean we choose our life's path and both of mine show nothing but war and pain. That's all of ours." We reach the office and we get back to work.
"Yeah. But live your life well roy. Look around you. We are all here for you and if we werent what would you have done? What would happen? Be nice to what you have or you will lose it when it comes to sides to choose." I smile and I get the first cabinet done.
~i used to tell her that all the time. "Life's not easy. Look around you. Theres many of options around you that you can choose. One might look better but it might be equal as the other. But in the end the other was more worth it and you can't go back since you've made your choice. So make sure you make the right choice and don't put yourself down." Anyway...
