Chapter 22 - Charlie

Katy's POV
I woke up on Saturday to a text message.
From Leo😍💗❤️
Morning Princess😘 Charlie is coming to mine today so can you come round mine later?💖 xxxx
I looked at the time to see that it was 9am. I quickly replied.
To Leo😍💗❤️
Okay I'll be round later😘 xxx
With that I got up and had some breakfast.

I got changed into a pair of leggings and my 5 Seconds of Summer t-shirt. I did my usual amounts of makeup. I then brushed through my hair and put in my blue extensions. I then loosely curled the ends of my hair.

I knocked on the door and Leo answered almost straight away. He pulled me into a hug then invited me inside. I went in and followed him to the living room. Charlie was sat on one of the sofas.
"So I'm finally getting to meet the melody to your bars," I laughed. I turned to Charlie. "Hi I'm Katy,"
"I've heard a lot about you," Charlie smiled at me.
"I've heard loads about you," I laughed. "I'm slightly worried that Larlie/Cheondre is slightly too real,"
"Well Larlie is for life," Charlie joked.
"I should leave you two to it then," I joked pretending to head out of the door.

I got to know Charlie really well and he was funny. We had a good time together.
"We should do a YouNow!" Leo suddenly exclaimed.
"You two can," I replied.
"Do a YouNow with us," Leo frowned.
"No I'm not ready to become hated," I protested. "I want to tell everyone that we're together but I don't want the hate,"
"You won't get hate," Leo tried to reassure me. I stared at him. "Okay so you might get some but it won't all be hate," I continued to stare at him.
"Everyone hates the girl who dates their future 'husband'!"I replied.
"We can pretend to just be friends," he pouted trying to make me change my mind. "Please, please, please?" I rolled my eyes.
"Fine!" I sighed.

Charlie and Leo told the Bambinos about their YouNow. They then set up and started it.
"Hi I'm Charlie,"
"And I'm Leo,"
"And we're Bars and Melody," they introduced themselves.
"Today we've got our friend Katy with us," Leo told them.
"Hi," I awkwardly waved my hand. Charlie and Leo started talking to and interacting with the Bambinos. Every now and then I would say something. I just sat and read the comments about me. Some people said that I was "beautiful" and "goals" while others said that I was "ugly" and "overweight". It was very divided. It was mainly the negative comments that stick out to me.

"She's so ugly why is Leo friends with her?"

"She looks like a slut!"

"What's with the blue hair? Obvs a geek who's a wannabe rebel and wants to be cool😂"

"She's so fat she's taking up most of the screen space!"

I excused myself and quickly went to the toilet. I hated getting hate. It always got to me. The worst part is I feel like most of them are true. I am ugly. I don't know what Leo sees in me. And I'm not the skinniest. I'm not the fattest but I'm not the skinniest. My weight gets to me so much. I don't always eat because I want to loose weight. I spend hours exercising every day. And I know it's unhealthy. But I comfort eat and always just put on weight.

I flushed the toilet so it looked like I actually used it. I went back and sat down again. Charlie was telling his sad story about sloths. Which, can I say, is very heartbreaking. They talked for a bit longer then finished their YouNow.

After the YouNow we put on a movie. Leo wrapped his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulders. And as I watched the movies I could feel my eyelids getting heavier and heavier. Until I could no longer keep them open.
