Chapter 7 - Friends

Katy's POV

I woke early Monday morning ready for school. Leo and I still haven't talked about the kiss yet. We've just carried on like it never happened. My friends have been texting me a lot about me and Leo. They all saw the photo that Joey had posted. I seriously hate Joey for posting that photo. I was just finishing eating my toast when there was a knock at the door. Aunt Jenny just about beat me to the door. She opened the door to reveal Leondre. I walked past her towards Leondre. "Bye see you later" I smiled at Aunt Jenny. "Bye have a good day" she smiled back as she closed the door. We started walking down the street. Every now and then our hands would brush. I was about to talk to him about the kiss when my phone started ringing. My older sister Tia was calling me. (K-Katy T-Tia)

K- Hello

T- Hey how are you?

K- I'm good you?

T- I'm good. I miss you loads

K- I miss you so much more.

T- That is impossible. Anyway so what's this photo of you and some boy Leondre about? It is all over Instagram and Twitter!

K- He is just a friend T.

T- Do you like him? I won't tell anyone.

K- I can't facetime you right now, I'm walking to school atm

T- What? That wasn't what I asked!

K- Oh I'm walking with my new friend Leondre.

T- Oh I get it now. Okay I'll speak to you later. Love you bye.

K- Speak to you later, love you bye.

I turned to face Leo. "Sorry my sister was just calling" I apologised. "Don't worry it's fine" he smiled. "Look about that kiss the other night," I started. "What did that mean? Like does it make us more than friends now? Or do we just continue like it never happened? I'm just confused right now. Do you like me too? I mean like..." Leo cut me off by kissing me. I could feel fireworks. It was magical. "That was a very nice way of telling me to shut up, but what does that make us now?" He stopped walking and faced me. "Katy, will you be more girlfriend?" he asked with his cute Welsh accent. I kissed him and he kissed me back. "Yes" I replied with the biggest smile ever on my face. He held my hand for the rest of the walk go school.

When we got go school, I could see Hailey and Regina waiting by the gate. "I should go over to my friends" I frowned. "Okay, but I'm going to need a goodbye hug to last until next time I see you" he smiled. I laughed and he pulled me into a big hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Leo gives the best hugs. He gave me a quick peck on the lips before pulling away. "See you later princess" he smiled at me. "See you later" I smiled back before walking towards Hailey and Regina.

When I walked over Hailey and Regina had their mouths in the shape of an 'O'. "What?" I laughed as I walked up to them. "O..M..G! Spill everything" squealed Regina. "What do you mean?" I asked playing dumb. "When did you and Leo get together? When did you first kiss? What was that photo about? And like all the other details!" Hailey squealed. This was the first time I had seen Hailey excited about gossip. "About ten minutes ago, the other night, the photo was just as friends and I can't think of any other details" I replied. "This is huge!" squealed Regina. "What is?" Lola asked as she walked over with Georgina and Izzy. "Katy and Leo are now an item" explained Hailey. "Ooh, if you get to meet Charlie you have to take me with you!" exclaimed Georgina. "Us. Take us with you" corrected Izzy. I laughed.

The bell for the start of school went so Izzy, Hailey and I started walking to form together. I sat next to Hailey in the back corner again and Izzy sat in front of us again. Sir walked in late and just glared at me. "He really doesn't like you" Hailey whispered to me. "I know right" was all I managed to reply. Lessons went quickly and in a blink of an eye it was break. We had just has English so I walked out with Leo. "So where do you go at breaks?" I asked Leo. "Oh uh just up at the field with some of the guys, you?" he quickly replied. "Oh the cafeteria" I replied. I could see that Regina and Izzy were standing on the other side of the corridor waiting for me. "Look I'm going to go see my friends but I'll see you in lesson and you can com round mine after school" I grinned. He pulled me into a big goodbye hug that lasted a little longer than it should have. We didn't pull apart until Izzy and Regina started having obviously awkward coughs. "See you later" he smiled. "See you later" I smiled back. With that we both went our separate ways.

When the end of the day came, I stood outside Leo's last lesson waiting for him. His class were being held back for some reason. As I stood there scrolling through Twitter, Jasmine, Tamzin and Millie came walking down the corridor towards me. Great! It seemed that since I had last seen them there skirts had got even shorter. They walked over to me, glaring as they did. They started looking me up and down. "I thought we told you to stay away from Leo?" scowled Millie. "So why is everyone fucking talking about that the fact that you and Leo are a couple?" spat Tamzin while shoving my back against the wall. Suddenly Leo's class starts coming out if the classroom. "I'm not afraid of you and you can't tell me what to do" I hissed. "You should be" scowled Jasmine. "Now break up with Leo" warned Millie. With that they walked off leaving me feeling stunned. "Hey princess" smirked Leo as he walked up to me. "Hey" I smiled. He held my hand and we started walking to my house.

"Leo... Stop!" I shouted in between screams of laughter as Leo tickled me. He stopped tickling me and started laughing. "It's not funny" I frowned while playfully hitting his arm. "It is" he laughed in his adorable Welsh accent. Suddenly, my phone started buzzing in my pocket. I answered. (K-Katy C-Caitlin)

K- Hello

C- Heya. What's this photo that's all over Twitter and Instagram 'bout then?

K- It's a long story

C- I got time

K- Well actually I've got a friend round at the moment

C- Oh my gawd it's that Leo who was tagged in the photo with you isn't it?

K- Well ac-

C- It is! I won't kelp you from him.

K- We no Cait! It's not like that!

C- Whatever you say

K- Anyways I better go I'll call you later, bye love ooo

C- Yeah I'll want the full story later, bye love ooo.

I turned to face Leo. "Sorry just my best friend from Dublin" I apologised. "It's cool" he smiled. We had loads of fun together. Once he left I called Caitlin and told her the story. She was freaking out over it. I then went to sleep.

And in my dreams was Leo.

And a certain Joe Sugg.

But my dreams were mainly of Leo.
