Chapter 9 - The Date? part 2

Leo's POV

We had just got seated at a table in Nandos and I sat opposite Katy. Luckily we were only waiting for a few minutes before we were shown to the table. Katy looked so beautiful tonight. We'll she always looked beautiful but tonight she looked especially stunning in her black dress with her leather jacket. "Hi my names Sophie and I will be your waitress tonight, would you like to order some drinks?" asked a waitress who had just arrived at our table. "Yeah I'll have a coke" I said then I turned to look st Katy. "Oh I'll just have water" Katy told the waitress. "Okay I'll go and get your drinks then come back to take your order" the waitress smiled.

"Why are you staring at me?" Katy asked. I then realised that I had been starting. "Because your beautiful" I smiled. She blushed. "So..." she said trying to break the ice. "That movie was really good" she continued. "Yeah" I agreed. I was about to say more but then the waitress came back with our drinks. "Can I take your order now?" the waitress asked with a big smile on her face, after she had placed our drinks down. "Yeah" Katy politely smiled. The waitress pulled out a note book and pen. "I'll have a lemon and herb butterfly burger." Katy then turned to look at me gesturing for me to order. "I'll have the same" I smiled. The waitress nodded then walked away.

We talked about the plot of the movie for quite a while. We then went on to talk about life in general. We laughed a lot and and fun. While we were laughing our heads off the waitress came and brought our food over. Once she placed it down she left. "Bon appétit" Katy smiled, before starting to eat her food. "Can you speak French?" I asked not sure wether that was all she could sat in French or not "Yeah and Spanish" she answered after swallowing the food she had in her mouth. "I had no idea you were bilingual" I stated. "I don't tend to tell many people" she explained. "You should because it's amazing!" I exclaimed. I could see her cheeks blush slightly. "No wonder your so good at French at school" I laughed. She laughed too.

Katy's POV

After we finished eating, I excused myself for a minute to go to the toilet. I could feel myself getting ore panicky as the night went on. I took deep breaths and washed my hands just so it didn't look like I had just randomly gone into the toilets. I checked that my hair and makeup looked alright before I went back to the table.

As I sat back down the waitress came over and started picking up our empty plates. "Would you like to look at the dessert menu?" she asked with a big smile. Leo looked across at me to ask me without speaking. "Um, actually I'm quite full so no thank you, can we have the bill?" I quickly spoke. The waitress nodded and went to get the bill. Leo and I started a deep conversation. The waitress returned with our bill. It had come to about £25. Leo started to put down enough money for it. I stared at him. "No we're going splits" I told him. He raised one eyebrow then sighed and put some of his money back. I pulled out my half of the money and a bit extra to tip the waitress with. "Shall we go?" I asked Leo. He stood up and came over and took my hand. "Yeah let's" he smiled holding my hand.

We walked slowly back home. We laughed and smiled. That's what I enjoyed about spending time with Leo; we always have fun. As we reaches the gate at the top of my garden we stopped walking. I turned to face Leo. "Thanks for an amazing night" I smiled brightly. His cheeks started to blush slightly. He pulled me into a big passionate hug. He tightly wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arm around his neck. He pulled away slightly then leaned in and kissed me. Our mouths moved in sync. We pulled apart. "Good night" I whispered. "Good night princess" he smiled. With that I walked down to my house and he walked down to his house.
