There stand the two mango trees,
One old and one planted by me.
Beside the wooden red gate,
A yellow house painted with faith.

There sits an old blue car,
Driven beyond the near and far,
Beside the small brown-black dog,
A grayish driveway cemented by love.

There holds a broken storage room,
Filled with rabbits and flowers in bloom.
Beside the hand made office,
A red balcony floor built with trust.

There they all went with the wind,
Laughter turns to tears and pain.
Side by side they wept,
A flooded street of broken dreams.

There with only the strong ones,
Insisting the life must be gone,
Near the doorway, next to the tree.
Over the fence of a saddened family.
