Enjoy!)
Cale, "Ready to head out?"
Alain, "I am ready. Ash, Aria, shall we?"
Aria, "One sec.... I can't find my comb."
Leavanny, "Vannnn."
Aria, "Oh! Found it! Thank you, sweet girl."
Ash, "We are ready."
Charmander, "Char charman char?"
Raijin, "Easier to accept challenges."
Ruby nodded, -Yes, trainers get challenged a lot. So, if some Pokemon were outside it is easier to jump right into battle.-
Raon, "You should not worry about it too much, young warrior."
Hong, "We will be the ones doing most of the battling, nya~"
Ohn, "And battling is fun, nya~"
Cale, 'Why are my kids sounding more battle obsessed in this world?'
Alain, "Miss Melanie, we shall be going now."
Aria, "Thank you for allowing us to spend a few days here."
Ash, "We learned a lot under you."
Cale, "Agreed! It was very informative and at the same time relaxing."
Melanie flushed, "Oh no! I should be the one to thank you for helping us out for free. Especially since I learned such fascinating facts myself too. I did not know the Bulbasaur line could use their moves to heal."
Pendrick puffed up, 'All to keep Young Master Cale healthy and safe.'
Ash giggled, "I think Pendrick is just special that way."
Charmander puffed up as well, "Char charman charmander."
Lock barked, 'That's our healer.'
Melanie sighed, "It really is a shame your previous trainer failed to see your amazing gifts for what it is. But maybe on the other hand, it is not so bad, as you have a good friend now."
Aria smiled, "Indeed, we certainly were lucky."
The group waved farewell and left as Melanie watched them go and prayed for their safety. She was especially worried about the red head, who in her honest opinion was too thin and careless with his health. She had observed them when they were helping her and had noticed how the red head would care for others and forget about himself. Alain, Aria and Ash would take turns to make sure he ate and drank alongside the red head's Pokemon. Sometimes it looked like the Pokemon were taking care of Cale instead of the other way around and the way Bulbasaur or rather Pendrick stuck to Cale. It was like one of those romanticized novels she used to read as a child where you met that one Pokemon who was your soul half.
Melanie, "I don't know why but I get this strange feeling Cale will attract trouble."
Ranger, "Oh? Those kids have left?"
Melanie startled then smiled, "Ranger Hewley! Ah yes! The kids just left a few minutes ago. I must have gotten lost in thought."
Hewley, "You seem really fond of them, from what we observed."
Melanie chuckled, "It is hard to not get attached.... I must confess, Cale somehow brings out protective feelings from me. It is a new feeling to me though."
Hewley nodded, "Hmm! I see! That does sound like a very fascinating experience. I am glad you are able to experience new things despite being stuck here for years now."
