Cale in Pokemon

Final Day in Fuchsia

Aria, "I am ready when you are."

Koga, "Alright then, Referee."

Referee, "This is a three on three battle for the Soul badge. The winner will be decided in one of two ways; the last Pokemon standing or winner of two rounds. The Gym leader will choose the first Pokemon. Choose your Pokemon."

Koga, "Come Golbat!"

Golbat, "Gol."

Aria, "I choose you Delphox."

Delphox, "Del."

Referee, "Begin!"

Aria, "Goodra charm."

Koga, "Golbat guest to cover yourself."

Cale, "Right! If you can't see the target you can't charm it."

Ash, "Smart! I am writing it down."

Alain chuckled, "It is a common tactic but not everyone uses it since it is a very common one."

Cale, "So, people forget because it is common? Huh!"

Ash, "I won't. I will use it."

Koga, "Air slash!"

Aria, "Light screen followed by fire spin."

Golbat attacked using Air slash which made Delphox dodge the first one before creating a shield to protect herself from the second one. The fire type then turned the shield and threw the attack back at the incoming third air slash. The Golbat sure had a lot of stamina to be throwing so many air slashes at her. Then, Delphox used fire spin and created a flaming tornado that absorbed the attack made from concentrated wind. It was working and soon enough the Golbat was caught in the fire tornado with a screech that made Cale wince at the pained shout. Koga stood stone faced though his eyes showed worry as his partner fell unconscious and not as burned as they had first thought.

Aria, "Nice one Delphox!"

Delphox puffed up, "Phox."

Referee, "Golbat has fainted, winner of the first round is Delphox."

Aria called, "Return and rest for now, okay? I will call you again if needed."

Delphox nodded, 'Fine by me.'

Koga, "Return Golbat! Impressive fire control young Lady. Golbat is not burned as I had fear."

Aria, "Thank you. We trained hard to control the heat of fire. We figured burning the oxygen to make the opponent faint would be better than completely burning them. It would be much faster than waiting for the Pokemon to be defeated through burning."

Referee, "Please pick your next Pokemon."

Koga, "Venomoth, time for battle."

Venomoth, "Moth."

Aria, "Leavanny time to shine my beauty."

Leavanny, "Lea ~"

Referee, "Begin!"

Aria, "Fell stinger!"

Koga, "Quiver dance. Do not let that attack touch you."

Leavanny danced as she threw a fell stinger then another at the flying type that dodged using the quiver dance though he looked nervous. The fell stingers looked sharp and long and Venomoth did not fancy being hit by one at all. Koga then called for acid spray which Venomoth happily obliged while Aria called for a leaf storm. Venomoth was spraying the field with acid but Leavanny used leaf storm to cover a section and pushed the acid leaves towards him. The big type was honestly terrified by the attack and flew higher to dodge what looked like an unholy amalgamation of his attack with grass.
