Cale in Pokemon

Cale munched on dried fruits, "That makes the fourth challenger this past hour Alain, Ash."

Ash, "Uhhh.... Fourth in one hour?"

Alain hummed, "It is a little weird to be challenged non - stop. I wonder if something is happening."

Aria, "Here!"

Cale, "What's this?"

Alain, "Oh! I know what this is. This is a chance for specialists to shine."

Ash, "Specialists? It's time for that test already?"

Cale, "Kinda early, isn't it?"

Aria looked at the flyer, "Maybe for one region but this does look like it will be an inter - regional one."

Ash, "Should we get the tickets?"

Alain, "I don't see why not. It will be informative for us too."

Cale, "Come on! Fuchsia City is where this will happen. We should hurry and get rooms for ourselves fast."

Aria nodded, "Let's rest up and hurry to the City."

The group nodded and hummed as Cale finished his snacks while he kept an eye on the root vegetable and meat stew as the bread did a slow bake in another pan. Alain and Ash sat down talking about some of the interesting methods that were used by some of their challengers. Ash was talking a mile a minute as he gushed over how some of the evolved forms of the Pokemon used their moves and how some results were more different than others. Aria chimed in with her own observations and came up with ideas on how to counter some of the moves which had ended up with their own Pokemon out cold.

Charmander pouted, "Char char charmander."

Raijin nodded, "That was a clever move."

Raon, "Agreed, the sandslash used a sand storm to hide the stun spore Paras was planning to use."

Ruby, -Agreed, I was not expecting that move either so do not blame yourself Charmander.-

Ohn, "I am more surprised they managed to fool us that easily."

Hong pouted, "Sneak attacks are our speciality. We have competition, sis."

Cale, "Food is ready."

Ash, "I will help."

Alain, "Leave the poke feed to us, Cale."

Aria, "We will make sure everyone eats."

Cale nodded, "Thank you. Let's eat together."

Ash took a bite after settling down, "I can't believe vegetables can taste so good. I mean mom is a great cook but ever since you started cooking with her it is more delicious."

Aria, "I have to agree. I am not a fan of carrots or radishes but I can eat this stew multiple times a month."

Alain, "You might be able to make even Mairin eat her vegetables. This is really good."

Cale, "Mairin? Your adopted sister?"

Alain nodded, "Yes, she hates vegetables, I have to struggle to get her to eat any veggies."

Aria, "I understand her feelings, but I think if the veggies were made this way I think she would eat it."

Alain, "Would you mind sharing the recipe?"

Cale, "I don't mind. I will send it to you by mail. No problem."

Alain smiled, "Dad will be relieved, I know he has been worried over her."
