"Talking"
'thinking'
-poke speech-
Enjoy!)The next few months were spent learning about the new world, it's history, geography, politics, law, etc. Cale could admit to being very interested and he even met Pallet town's Champions, Red, Green and Blue. Red was now a Ranger, his job area being Mt Silver, while Blue was the Gym Leader of Viridian City. Green was the newest Champion though she had a feeling there would be another soon. It was her words, not like Cale really cared about becoming a Champion, he enjoys slacking off the most. The three older teens were curious about Cale but did not push the subject of his past, instead they told him to call one of them if he ever wanted to talk.
Cale was touched and smiled sweetly making the three teens almost get a heart attack at how cute he looked while smiling. Hong, Ohn and Raon did not help in reducing the cuteness with how they were engulfing Cale and acting very cute themselves. There was only so much cuteness, the three teens could take before deciding they would protect the cute little red haired angel. They had read the files Professor Oak had on Cale which included his health folder and they knew about the scars and bruises which were man made. Dr Proctor had been very thorough in checking Cale's physical health. He wrote down how long ago the cuts were given as well as the numerous broken bones that were healed.
Cale was patting Raon, "Your brother and his friends are really sweet Gary. Look they gave me their numbers saying I can call any one of them if I ever want to talk."
Gary eyed the numbers, "Did they now?"
Ash smiled, "That is really nice of them."
Gary was speechless, 'What is going on? Red never gives his phone number to anyone who is not a high ranking trainer.'
Cale was looking contemplative, "I suppose I could call them once a month or something. I do not want to disturb them. Maybe I should message them first and then call them."
Ash shrugged at him, "I am sure they would not mind if you call them directly Cale. You are already very considerate anyway. I am sure they would be happy if you called them every day too."
Gary nodded, "I agree. Besides, I think they will be free to take calls in the morning."
Cale smiled brightly, "I suppose so. Thanks guys."
Gary and Ash both flushed at the bright smile directed at them, they were happy to see Cale happy and smiling. Ash moved closer to Cale and the red head just made space for the boy while Gary leaned on his back. Unlike Ash who was happy to just have a friend Gary was making his own plans. Cale was strange, not in a bad way but in a really good way. Cale's smiles had a warmth that made them fill with warmth as well, it was a comforting feeling. Gary frowned, he did not understand what sort of person would try to harm his friend. Cale was the most considerate and sweetest guy he has met. Just a few days ago Cale helped his Gramps calm down two Pokemon groups who were fighting.
Samuel found them after a while, "Uhhh.. Cale, what are Hong, Ohn and Raon doing with your pencils and paper?"
Cale, "Hmm? Oh! They wanted to copy me studying. I don't mind."
Samuel got interested, "Really?"
Gary, "Look Gramps, Hong and Ohn can spell their names. Raon is having a bit of difficulty holding the pencil but he is close."
Ash nodded, "Yeah, I can't wait for my poke egg to hatch. We will learn everything together."
Gary sweat dropped, "We will have to see if they are interested in learning or not first."
