=Night And Day=

Night is dark

And worse than a dog’s bark

Make sure you watch your back

‘Cause something could launch an attack

And the moon’s silvery cool glow

Will show who’s a friend or foe

Watch out for predators

Who lurk in the shadows tonight

And give their prey a fright

Day is light

Don’t worry; it won’t bite

There’s no need to shade your eyes

‘Cause there’s no demise

And the sun’s white hot glare

Will block out any nightmare

Watch for the birds

Who sing during the day

Keeping the eerie things at bay

Look one last time at the moon and sunrise

And then you’ll realize

That the two might be different

But each plays their part

And couldn’t bear to be apart
