This poem is dedicated to an awesome poem writer who loves to rhyme! :)

Oh, how we used to be friends

But now it's too late to make amends

We came to a fork in the road

You decided and took your own path

While I stayed in my humble abode

Knowing that someday I'll have to face your wrath

Our eyes are fiery coals

As we stare daggers at each other

We say things out of spite

Hurling our derogatory remarks

All that follows is a fight

And we bleed from all the marks

Nothing will ever be the same

Because neither of us will take the blame

And neither of us is tame

To us, it's all just a game

We can't keep up with this

Otherwise we'll both be stuck in a deep, dark abyss

We can't outshine each other

For we are one

Embodying the same spirit

The mirror shatters into a million shards

As I throw myself at my reflection

Author's Note: This is another one of my free verse poems! I hope you enjoyed this~It's for people who have "frenemies" and it's great if you can relate. Haha, that rhymed! In my case, my "frenemy" is myself 'cause I argue with myself. :)
