--The Only Escape--

I sink my teeth

Into the soft skin of my wrist

I ignore my watery eyes and all the mist

After several seconds, I begin to seethe

With anger

At anyone and everyone

Why is there nobody to help?

Nobody is out here but me

Desperately trying to see

If I can find a friend

Someone who could mend

My entire life

And help me deal with all the strife

I'm afraid that if I continue this way

My top is going to blow

Disrupting the flow

Of a normal day

I can't be by myself; I need a team

Who will help me get through this

Life stage that I won't miss

Feeling hopeless, I begin to scream

With anger
