A/N: The picture is of Carita's hair, but her hair is longer then the one in the picture. Happy reading~

The warm sun shone through my linen teal curtains. The silver crescent moon charm that dangles above the curtains sways. A pleasant soft tinkle echoed throughout my room. I hummed softly as I listened to the song it created. It reminded me of a lullaby my Mother sang when I was a child.

I pushed my teal and white sheets off my body, and then slowly stepped out of bed. My thick long hair flowed then gently fell in place. I walked towards my curtains and stopped when I stood in front of them. I pushed open my curtains and was met with a beautiful view of the sea. Its various shades of blue bring a sense of calm over me.

I smiled at the view then walked over to my white wooden vanity. I grabbed a soft cloth then dipped it in a clear bowl of water. As it soaked in the cool water I stripped off my white linen nightgown. I grabbed the cloth and gently squeezed out excess water. I rubbed the cloth across my arms, neck, chest, and legs. I placed the cloth on a brass handle on the vanity's right side. Then I grabbed a clear glass bottle and opened it.

I was met with a lovely scent of lemon and jasmine. I placed a dab of the calming aroma on my collarbone and between my breasts. I closed the bottle and set it back on the vanity. I walked to my dresser to choose a gown to wear. I choose a soft pink floor-length gown with delicate short sleeves that flow. It has a v shaped neck and an embroidered waist. I placed on a pair of brown sandals and walked to my small mirror.

I started at my reflection in the mirror. My light tan skin complimented the soft shade of pink from my gown. The top of the gown showed my hourglass figure then flowed out at the bottom. My heavy bangs that stop before my eyebrows compliment my heart shaped face. My long wavy blonde hair stops at my lower back. The pastel pink sends of my hair nearly blend with the pink from my gown. My bright emerald eyes shine due to the rays of light from the sun.

I smile at my reflection and am pleased with my appearance. I make my way into my homes light wooden kitchen. My Mother and younger sister Estrellita are sitting at the rectangular wooden table. Mother saw me and smiled as I walked toward the table. Her smile reached her warm chocolate brown eyes. Her tan skin shone through her soft golden gown. The sleeveless sweetheart neckline showed off her mate mark. The mark begins on the top of her right breast and stops at near her shoulder.

The mark is of a crescent moon intertwined with the blue sea waves. I stared at my Mother and noticed that her birthmark is hidden. Normally, her heavy silver fringe bangs are parted, but today they are not. Her long hair cascades down her back. "Good morning Carita. Did you sleep well?" she asked. Once I reached the table I sat across from my Mother and Estrellita.

"Good morning Mother. Yes I slept well and yourself?" I replied in a soft tone. Mother took a crafted teal cup and poured some tea, then placed it in front of me. "I slept well. I only awoke three times throughout the night"

Estrellita gently pushed her empty bowl away. I looked at her and saw that her long silver hair is braided. The pastel purple ribbon matches the ends of her hair. Her long olive green gown with dropped sleeves compliments her tan skin and hazel eyes. "Are you finished my little star?" asked Mother.

A pale pink blush appears on Estrellita's cheeks, no doubt because Mother is still using her pet name at the age of fifteen. "Yes Mother. May I go embroider with Stella at her home?" Mother nodded her head "Of course. Please take some sweet bread with you"

Estrellita agreed and stood up from her seat. "Carita can you do my hair for tonight?" I smile at my sister's request "Of course. Lets take a bath together then I will do your hair" Estrellita agreed then excused herself from the kitchen.
