A low groan of annoyance escapes my lips as I walk up the steps of the dungeon. I can hear the insane laughter of the prisoner as I walk up the narrow stoned steps. Warrick joins me as we walk up the steps and onto the main level of the castle.

"I did not think that this man would be so difficult to break. No matter the amount of pain that was place upon him it was taken with a smile. I suppose that he was taught to withstand pain," I said.

Warrick chuckles as he places a hand on my shoulder in hopes to calm my nerves. "I agree your Majesty. You are able to make a man spill all of his secrets yet this man has not uttered a helpful word in days," he said.

"I agree that he was well trained in magic at well. It had taken me three days to break the silencing spell that he placed on himself, " I said. A silencing spell is only as strong as the caster and his will. His magic may be weak compared to Carita yet his will is strong.

"I believe that his will power shall lessen and we will have the knowledge that we seek. All men will cower under power and fear of death," said Warrick.

I suppose that is the case since I have tortured men before as well. The reasons that I tortured them very insignificant compared to this man. How the hell did he manage to get through the protective magic that surrounds the Isle? No outsider as ever managed to enter the waters of the Mystic Sea let alone step foot on our shore. The magic that protects us flows seamlessly and I could not feel a crack in its power. Yet he managed to come here and attempted to harm my wife, my mate! My hand balls up into a fist and my anger gets the best of me as I slam it against a wall. My eyes narrow as I stare at the hole in the wall that I was able to create. The sound of my blood spilling down my arm reaches my ears.

"My King please remain calm. I believe that the God will show us the righteous path to rid our Realm of this evil. I was able to speak with the Priests and Priestess that oversee to the great magic. I was informed that the spell was not broken," said Warrick.

"I see then my suspicions may have been correct. I believe that we have a traitor on the Isle who invited this man in our home," I said.

As King of the Emerald Isle I have a deep connection to my homeland and as well as the magic that protects it. At all times of the day I am able to determine who enters and exits the Isle. This includes my people and visitors. However, I did not detect anyone entering or exiting the Isle last night. I must discover how this outsider entered the Isle through an invitation that I was unable to detect. My magic is vast and it is rather difficult for anyone to be undetected in my home.

"I shall interrogate the prisoner once more after I have overseen today's training my King," said Warrick.

"Very well I expect that you will contact me with any information that spills from that man's mouth. For the time being I must attend a meeting with my advisor," I said.

Warrick and I separate where the corridor splits and I walk down the hall that leads to the meeting room. When I entered the room my advisors stood up from their seats that surround my throne. They bow their heads in respect as I walk toward the throne and then take my seat. Once I am seating my advisors take their seats and the begin informing me of the Isle as well as the Realm. While I listen to their conversation regarding our merchandise and news from the North I continue to think of that bastard in the dungeon. I would much have rather remained in the dungeon than attend this dull meeting.

"Your Majesty the only matter that we have yet to discuss is your journey to the Summit," said Joel my second strongest warrior. He is a rather tall man with bronze skin and a muscular frame. His black hair stops at the nape of his neck with deep brown eyes.
