A/N: Happy reading everyone~

I lay sideways on my bed with my left elbow resting on the soft sheets. An old brown leather book lay open on the bed in front of me. The book contains information about the Emerald Isle.

Mother had suggested that I learn the history and culture of my new home. She had given me the book two year ago for my birthday. I had been afraid to open the book until four months ago. Opening the book would mean my arranged marriage is real.

I wish my mate were here, so maybe my parents would end my upcoming marriage. However, the Goddess of the Moon is not on my side. The men here of mating age are not my mate.

There are a handful of men of age that have found their mate. The other men of age, all of whom I know, are waiting to meet their mate, so that are not my mate. I suppose all I can do is pray to the Goddess. I must trust that thee Goddess has a valid reason for this arrangement.

I am surprised that I have not seen my true mate. Mother has the ability to see clearly into the future. I have inherited this ability, but I am nowhere near Mothers level. However, it may not be possible to see your mate in a vision.

The Gods and Goddesses may not want those who hold the ability to see to know everything. There may be events in the lives of Seers that the Gods do not want us to know. Perhaps I should ask Mother if she had a vision about Father before they meet.

I recall when Thane told me Mothers vision about Estrellita. He said Mother saw her as a gentle and delicate child. That is why Mother decided to name her Estrellita. I will ask Mother tomorrow if she had visions about Father.

I am not sure if she will tell me, but I should at least try to find out. I looked back down at the book to realize that I am on the same page. I let out a soft sigh and wonder if I should continue reading. It is about time that I make my way to the bath. I had promised to take a bath with Estrellita and Azalea.

I extended my right arm to the small wooden table next to my bed. I grabbed a braised blue and green cloth with a delicate silver moon charm and a gold star charm. I placed the cloth between the book pages.

I closed the book and decided to leave it on the bed. I will try to read more than one page before going to bed. I slowly got out of bed and stretched my arms above my head. I walked out of my room and walked down the hall to the right.

I walked down the din candle lit hall. The candlelight's bounced off the soft cream colored walls. When I reached the end of the hall I turned right. I stopped in front two large cherry wood doors.

Across each door are delicate detailed vines. The vines are so beautiful that I want to reach over and touch them. Instead I grab onto one of the large round door handles. The handle felt cool yet smooth between my fingers.

An auditable soft creek was heard through the hall as I pulled the handle towards me, opening the door. I stepped into the bath and closed the door behind me, so that no heat would escape.

I stood in the changing area before the bath. The walls are painted a soft cream and have off white and beige tiled floors. I stood next to a soft beige shelf that reached slightly above my shoulders. I turned to the shelf then pulled on a square basket from the shelf.

Half of the basket remained in the shelf as I pulled my gown upward from the waist. I placed the gown in the basket and then began to unwrap my breast cloth. The soft white fabric is wrapped around my breasts and is tied in the back.

I quickly unwrapped the cloth then placed it in the basket. I took of the white cloth that covered my womanhood by pulling on the stings at each side. I placed them in the basket and pushed it back in place.
