The air in the practice room was heavy, there was laughter bouncing off the walls and mirrors, sneakers squeaking and music blasting on the speaker.

You sat in the corner with a notebook in hand, writing down your own ideas and doodling on the pages. You smiled politely when you occasionally hear your name being called.

You looked at the door every few minutes, wishing Jihyo would come back from her meeting to rescue you from this chaos soon.

"Hey, [Y/N], do you like pink?" Momo asked, showing you a Pinterest board.

You simply nodded.

Momo turned back to the girls proudly, but the others were talking over each other.

"What about lasers? Or a fire show? Or a drone light show?" Jeongyeon asked next, and before you could nod politely, the girls chided her.

"Give it up, Jeongyeon! No one cares about your drones!" Nayeon said and turned her attention to you. "What about a live choir? I guarantee you'll both be in the headlines the next day!"

You could only smile.

"I'm going out for some fresh air." You said, but none of them heard you as they were all talking over each other.

You quietly slipped away from the practice room, and made your way to the rooftop garden. Your chest felt heavy and tight, and you desperately needed fresh air.

[P. Jihyo] you doing okay, baby? The girls taking care of you? The meeting ran long, but it should end in a few minutes.

[Y/N] I'm alright. The girls are very sweet.

You jumped slightly when the door to the rooftop garden opened. Tzuyu took a seat next to you, handing you a cup of hot tea and wrapped a fleece blanket around your body.

"You shouldn't be out here with just a tshirt and shorts, it's too cold."

"Sorry, it was a bit overwhelming back there."

"We noticed that you slipped away a little too late. I'm sorry we're a bit much. We kind of forgot that it's your wedding and you should get to decide what kind of flowers and wedding dress you want. We forgot not everything has to be a headline" Tzuyu said with a small smile.

"That's okay. But don't tell Jihyo, okay? Between the schedules and our wedding, she's busy enough and doesn't need to worry about—"

"Tell me what and what don't I need to worry about?" Jihyo opened the door recklessly, finding you and Tzuyu in the middle of a conversation.

"It's noth—" Tzuyu started, but got cut off by the leader.

"Don't. Go back to the practice room. I want some privacy with [Y/N]."

Tzuyu gave you an apologetic smile before returning back to practice room promptly, most probably to warn the girls that Jihyo is mad at them for causing you stress.

"Baby, you okay? Did the girls do something?" Jihyo sat next to you and pulled you into her embrace.

The warmth radiating from Jihyo's body relaxes you instantly.

"They've been nothing but nice to me, baby. It's my fault, I get overwhelmed easily."

"Go wait for me in the car. I'll be there in a minute." Jihyo handed you her car keys.

"Where are you going?"

"To give the girls a piece of my mind." Jihyo placed a kiss on your forehead and led you back into the building.
