Rain slowly fell behind a small window, the clouds a hazy gray as music softly played from inside, being unnoticed, a silky black cat sitting on the windowsill as if it was watching every move of life. Time went slowly, leather boots tapping against the cool marble floor. A woman, blonde and tall, stroked the cat's fur, standing still while looking out at the gray sky.

Taylor stood there for a few moments, her slow breathing in sync with the falling rain. No light came from the hallway except a small sliver where the door was. A brunette known as Hailee slowly came into view. Silence, then Taylor slightly turned over to look at Hailee, trying not to disturb the quiet moment. It lasted minutes, maybe even an hour, before they locked eyes.

"Are we gonna stay quiet forever?" Laughed Hailee, nudging Taylor's shoulder lightly before speaking again. "Because I want your lips on mine."

Another moment of silence, then Taylor spoke, her voice delicate.

"It's dangerous, Hailee, I'm a vampire, I might accidentally bite you."Carefully, Hailee fixed Taylor's hair, locking eyes with her.

"Just put your fangs away, Tay, this relationship isn't official without a first kiss."With a small giggle, the blonde opened her mouth, sharp fangs in Hailee's sight. Taylor put them away, then brushed her hair. As the two got closer, wind seemed to pull them together as they hugged, slowly leaning into eachother.

As they looked into eachother, two eyes locked, then two lips pressed together, the sweet taste of Hailee's lipgloss as she guided the kiss, Taylor's eyes closing. As they got closer, deepening the kiss more, it felt like they were forever.

After the magical first kiss, Taylor and Hailee made a silent promise to be each other's forevermore.
