The clearing within which they had all gathered, was just far enough away from the camp and the nearby villages that it would keep their little demonstrations, private. (Y/n) having no desire for the locals to know that they had mutants in their midst; this feeling like the kind of place where they would still try to run you out of town with pitchforks and burning torches. That, or maybe they might burn them all at the stake for being witches. Either way, it didn't sound like something she wanted to deal with, the idiots at the camp enough. And then there would be the camp commander she would have to contend with when he finally got back from his little trip. So, she would take this little moment of peace, ignoring Creed as she had asked Gates to assist with the foliage cover, to make sure that they really weren't seen.

Something had already changed amongst the group since yesterday; there a feeling of a new cohesion between the men, other than Creed of course, who still kept himself at a distance. His arms crossed firmly across his chest and a scowl on his face. But whatever had happened, (Y/n) liked it, and she was determined to keep it going. Determined to make them a real team that knew they could rely on one another when the shit hit the fan.

"Ok, listen up......" She called out. The conversations stopping, before all of them turned to look at their commanding officer.

"If you boys have been paying attention, you will know that we are here so that you can show me what you can do. Given that most of your abilities are not as obvious as Sargent Creed's ability to be an ass, I require a demonstration........" A smile spreading across (Y/n)'s lips, as she heard said sargent huff at her comment.

"Sanchez.......!"

"Sir........?" The speedy New Yorker, at his captain's side in an instant.

"Given that I have already had suitable demonstrations of your abilities, you get away with it, today. But I require an assistant, and you have just been volunteered......"

"Yes Sir.........." (Y/n) shaking her head at the smartass, as he came to stand by her side.

"Now......where to start..........?" She mused for a moment, before turning her attention to the tall, slender Lieutenant.

"Lieutenant........"

"Sir..........?"

"Teleportation.........I want you to teleport yourself back to my office. On my desk, you'll find some shooting targets, a hammer, nails and my binoculars. Then go to the armoury, grab two Springfields and a Browning Automatic. Bring them all back here........." The lieutenant saluting smartly, before just disappearing. The senator's son gone for a mere matter of moments, before reappearing in front of his XO with everything that had been asked for. (Y/n) taking both of the rifles, before throwing them at the Gold twins.

"Sanchez......."

"Sir, yes sir..........?"

"See that tree on the hill.......?" She pointing to a tree that stood all on its own in the distance.

"Take the targets and hammer in one above the other on the trunk........" (Y/n) shaking her head yet again, as Rico gave a dramatic salute before taking the items and just like Smith, vanished in a flash. Her eyes then turning back to the two Gold boys, as soon as the corporal returned.

"Ok, you two. I'm starting you off easy. I'd say that tree was about two miles away. Five shots each. I want to see all of them in the bullseye. Solomon top target, Samuel bottom..........fire when ready........." The captain bringing up the binoculars to her eyes. A smile coming to her lips, as every bullet fired by the usually squabbling pair, ripped through the paper at the heart of the targets......." The twins, standing to attention, as soon as their last bullets were fired.

"Not bad.....not bad........" (Y/n) pushing her binoculars into Sanchez's chest, before picking up the automatic rifle. She pulling back on the bolt, then turning her attention to the others.

"Lutz.....your up. Cover all of them..........." That the only warning she gave the brown-haired, blue-eyed man, before she started to shoot. Lutz quickly shielding the men around him, who instantly dropped to the floor, with their hands covering their heads. Each bullet bouncing off the protective barrier he had put up. (Y/n) not stopping until the magazine was empty. Her attention turning to Creed, as he got to his feet and brushed himself down, mumbling something rather unpleasant under his breath.

"Do you have something to say......sargent........?" Victor glaring at the captain, as she made her way over to him, with the BAR slung over her shoulder.

"No.......Sir.........." (Y/n) sure that she had never heard those two words spoken with more venom in her life. But she didn't care. It not like the Nazis would give Lutz any more warning than she had, when they were in the field; the cocky Lutz better off learning to be ready at any moment, with her shooting at them, than anyone else.

"Strange that......I could have sworn that you were bringing into question the legitimacy of my birth; that, and my level of intelligence. Well, all I can say is if you don't like the way I am testing my men......tough........As I told you, I am not Drake, and you don't scare me. A bad temper and an even worse manicure is not going to send me scurrying, Creed. Now, if you have nothing else to say, we'll get back to what we are supposed to be doing........" The captain raising a questioning eyebrow, as she waited for the sargent to dare say anything else. A smile coming to her lips, as he just huffed and took a seat back on one of the rocks in the clearing.

"Excellent......now........." (Y/n) throwing the BAR to Sanchez.

"Who's next..........?"
