vinis pov:

HR had been... surprisingly reasonable. Not lenient, but fair. They understood that what we felt wasn't some reckless fling — it was real,
mutual, and carefully handled. The club couldn't officially sanction it, but they allowed a compromise: we could see each other discreetly as long as professionalism was maintained during work hours.

As soon as i stepped out of the office, i called annalise.

"lise," i said, voice tight with relief, "we... we can be together. not public, not officially, but... together."

"vini," she breathed into the phone, "are you serious?"

"serious," i whispered. "i promised you i'd fight for us. and i kept that promise."

she laughed softly, and i could hear the happiness in it — the same laugh that had haunted my dreams
when we were apart.

"meet me tonight," i said. "i want to take you out. proper date."

"you don't even need to ask," she replied. "i'll be ready."

annalises pov:

the evening felt like a dream. vini picked me up, looking impossibly handsome in a dark shirt and jeans.
we drove through the city, lights blurring past, music soft in the background.

"so... how do you feel?" he asked, glancing at me as we walked into a small, candlelit restaurant.

"nervous," i admitted. "but... happy. this is finally us, isn't it?"

"finally," he said, taking my hand across the table. his thumb brushed mine lightly, deliberately. "promise me one thing?"

"anything."

"we fight for this. always. no matter what."

"i promise," i said, smiling, heart fluttering.

the date was perfect — laughter, easy conversation, stolen glances, and every subtle touch that reminded me of how much i felt for him. by the time we left the restaurant, the world felt smaller, safer, and ours.

"shall we take a walk?" he asked.

"absolutely," i said.

the city streets were quiet, and with every step, we drew closer. finally, under the soft glow of a streetlight, he pulled me close.

"lise...ive waited so long to have you" he murmured, lips barely brushing mine.

"vini..." i leaned into him.

soft at first, lingering. my hands found his neck, his arms wrapped around me, holding me like i'd always belonged there. we let the moment stretch until neither of us could resist any longer.

vinis pov:

we got back to my apartment, the air between us heavy with unspoken words and desire.

"i don't want this to end," she whispered as soon as the door closed.

"then it won't," i replied, pulling her close.

that night, we fell asleep tangled together, hands clasped, hearts racing. every brush of skin against skin, every shared breath, was a promise we didn't need words for.

annalises pov:

morning came, soft and quiet. i woke with vini's arms around me, his steady heartbeat under my ear.

"good morning beautiful." he murmured.

"good morning," i replied, smiling sleepily.

and in that moment, i realized — i didn't want this hidden anymore. i didn't want just stolen kisses and whispered promises.

i wanted to be his. officially. openly. no more rules, no more waiting.

and i knew he felt the same.

because promisesreal promises — weren't broken.
