Once upon a time

Another AU idea im trying out.
I have a couple different AUs that I wanna try and make into books, but seeing how people like them first and if they would be worth my time to make them.

This is just a short snippet style to see what people think.
(Fun fact, these are the snippets you can find on discord. Posted weeks before the actual chapter comes out)

The idea I had...is if I did this.
Alastor is a servant to a knight and the knight dies, and he steals the armor and impersonates one.
The vees would be his enemy and find ways to defeat him or kick him out of tournaments for knight games

Alastor sat upon his mount, In his hand he held onto his lance.
"Next up is Heartfelt vs Williams" the announcer called out, looking down the lane Alastor looked at his opponent before Vaggie came running up.
"Alastor!...Williams is actually Morningstar...the king" she said taking a breath.
"Thats why everyone has been withdrawing against him, hes royalty!" She said as Angel and husker looked at her.
"We have to withdraw! Go put up the flag, they are about to start" Husker said quickly as Vaggie nodded as she took up running while Angel looked up at Alastor.
"Give me the lance" he said all the while Alastor was still staring at the king. Lucifer on the other end, watched as Vaggie ran over and grabbed the white flag and let out a sigh of disappointment.
"Give me the lance Alastor" Angel said before Al whipped the reins and his horse took off.
Hearing the neigh. Lucifers attention was pulled back towards Alastor. Watching as the stallion charged at him, the disappointed look on his face disappeared as a smirk took its place.
"Lance!" He said as his assistant handed him the lance before he kicked the horse. The hoofs threw the dirt into the air as he charged off towards Alastor. The ground rumbled with the thundering of hoofs as the crowd went wild before the two met in the middle. The wooden poles splintered upon impact as both riders gripped onto the saddles to hold on against the blow.
"Oh my..." Vaggie muttered as she watched the scene happen. Alastor stopped his horse as Angel came running up to him.
"Are you mad! You just knowingly endangered the king!"
"He knowingly endangers himself" Alastor said as he flipped his face shield up and watched as Lucifer trotted towards him, his shield only partially open to keep his identity hidden.
"Sir Heartfelt, well played" he said with a smile as Alastor nodded.
"And you as well...Sir Morningstar" Alastor said as Lucifer looked at him and his smile grew a little. He reached up and pulled off his mask as the crowd gasped and fell silent.
"You knew me, and still you rode?" He asked and watched as Alastor nodded.
"It is not in me to withdraw" He replied as Lucifer chuckled some.
"Nor me...but it happens" he said as they looked at each other for a moment.
"Goodluck in the tournament Sir Heartfelt"
"You as well your Majesty" Alastor replied before they both put a fist on their chest as a sign of respect before moving to their own corners.
