The pulsing from my head throbbed behind my eyelids. Groaning, I fluttered then open, adjusting to the darkness within the room. There wasn't much to look at. But there was a god awful smell coming from somewhere, it was close. Like it was in the room with me. It made my stomach roll, and the contents from this morning--
This morning. A gasp left my lips and I licked them. My brain squeezed out my memory trying to recall what happened, what time it was. And where the fuck am I even at?
The last thing that comes to mind is me getting out of my car... and... I got out of my car...
Just then the creek of a door opened, along with a sliver of light coming in right behind the silhouette. I hissed as the light made its way to my eyes. Slamming my lids shut I looked away, trying to get used to the new beam. It was a small frame, more than likely a woman or just a really scrawny man.
"Sorry we had to meet this way, but things were. In the sight of my vision and keeping me from doing so." a voice spat. A chill overcame my spine and it steels straight with tension. "Seems as if you had your hands full.
As quick as the light came in, it was gone, but her footsteps echoed in the room. I could feel her behind me as she stalked me. Eyeing my every breath, watching my chest rise and fall. I could see her figure, but again I could see her face. But something in my brain was telling me that I had heard this voice before.
"What can I say -- Im a busy woman with a busy life." I admitted, licking my lips. "Mind telling me what's going on here?"
A hum left her lips, amused, it seemed. Her shoes scraped to a stop on the floor, her heels on a pile of dirt as she kicked a stone away with her shoe.
"What's going on here is that you took something from me, and I would like it back." She spat. The tension and the temperature in the room began to rise, even for it being so dark.
"If I knew who I was talking to, maybe I can get better recollection as to what it is I took from you." I toyed.
An echo of a scoff left the persons lips, and while it was annoying that I had no fucking idea who I was talking to, their moves in attempt to kidnap me were -- mediocre, to say the least.
My hands have been loosely tied since I had been awake, and all that was really keeping me still, was the gun on their hip. I shined just right in the little bit of light that was let in the room when the door had opened.
Then, their right arm raised above her head, and up they went on their tip toes. A snort came from my lips noting the short height, and then came the butt of the gun to the side of my head. A groan left my lips as my teeth ground together, keeping from screaming in agony. Immediate blood pooled then dripped down the side of my cranium. A throb the same rhythm of my heartbeat was in play.
A click of a switch being flipped broke the silence, and a flood of light burned my eyes. Squinting and adjusting the light, the person sighed in front of me, and ran what I hoped was a finger through the gash. Wincing, their pressure intensified, before my mouth opened to let out a whimper.
"Mmm, no wonder he's into you." Her eyes raked over me, as my mind adjusted still. "So many curves and lumps to work with."
My eyes rolled.
Once they did, my heart was in my ass, but not surprised at who was in front of me. Hands on her hip, close to the gun, she took the same finger she dragged through my wound, and licked it clean. My stomach churned at her movements.
Still skinny as she was, her hair was longer, and stringy. Like she had been hiding out in the swerve or on park benches. When my eyes connected with hers, a sigh left my lips.
