"Marcus, I'm afraid to go to work today." I confessed looking blankly at my slightly burnt toast.

"You'll be fine Lola. That stupid James guy won't get to you. I promise." He reassured me and I gave him a small smile. He smiled back and I felt more safe.

"Are you gonna eat that?" He asked referring to my over cooked bread. I made a scowl at it and shook my head. Marcus laughed and took it away from me and dumped it in the trash.

"Thanks. I need to get to work though." I said slipping on my shoes. Even though I was going to be a half hour early, I thought that would make me seem more professional and responsible. It was my first day, and I had to make a great impression.

I gave Marcus a kiss goodbye and left. I traveled down the floors and out the lobby into the parking lot. I looked around quickly and speed walked to my car, just for safety. Once I was in the car I sighed and started off the go to work.

After work :)

Today was fun. Working at Lush isn't bad. I only get the cashier job now, and I can't really talk to customers about the bath bombs or stuff like that. Right now I'm walking into the apartment.

"Hi Lola!" Marcus greeted me happily when I came into the house. He got up from his spot on the couch and came over to me. I gave him a kiss on the lips and pulled my phone out my pocket. I texted my mom and Shayla when I noticed my phone was gonna die.

"Can I use your charger? I lost mine." I asked politely and Marcus took a second to peel his eyes off the TV.

"What? Uh yeah." He responded and twisted his head back to the television. I rolled my eyes and left the living room to make my way into the bedroom. I saw Marcus' phone charging and I unplugged it and the screen lit up. He had a text and I tried not the read it but my eyes did it anyways. My jaw dropped open when I saw what it said:

From: Kathy.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Don't be late ;)

I grabbed his phone and swallowed hard. Is Marcus cheating on me? I threw his phone across the room and it hit the dresser with a loud THUMP!

"Lola? What was that?" Marcus asked from the living room.

"Your phone." I answered loud enough for him to hear with tears at the bridge of my eyes. I heard him walk towards the bedroom and I prepared for what I was going to say.

"Lola..." He carefully spoke and noticed his phone on the floor. He picked it up and checked it for cracks. I sat on the bed.

"Who is Kathy?" I asked and saying that made me want to cry.

"I'm her landscaper." He simply said and I would like to meet this bitch and tell her to get another landscaper.

"Why is she texting you then?!" I stood up and crossed my arms. I was raging.

"I don't know! Why are you freaking out Lola?" He raised his voice and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Because you told me I can't hang out with any other boys and this Kathy girl is texting you like your her boyfriend or some shit! How old is she?" I yelled stepping closer to Marcus.

"She is 23 and she is nice! That's all I think of her. Why don't you trust me Lola!? It's retarded!"

"Because! I don't know! I think it's retarded that this girl is sending you wink faces!"

"Oh my god Lola! She is just a girl! A girl who is annoying as fuck and is hitting on me! Why don't you trust me?"

"Because we started dating because my mom asked you too."

"Lola you know that's not the case. We already have had a talk about this."

"Yeah but I still get scared! We haven't even been dating for that long! Not even two months! Maybe I don't trust you!"

"I fucking saved your life. If you don't trust me get out of my house." He pointed out the bedroom door. I gritted my teeth and grabbed my phone that never got to charge. I left the apartment and the door slammed behind me. I sighed and walked towards the elevator asking Trevor if I could come over. He said yes and I made my way over.

At Trevor's house

"And he just kicked you out?" Trevor asked flabbergasted at my story.

"Pretty much." I replied. "But enough about me, did you talk to your friend yet?" I asked.

"Yeah, he said he was okay with me being gay, but he didn't like me in that way. He was actually pretty happy that I liked him though." Trevor said smiling off into the distance.

"That's great!" I exclaimed. I was so proud of Trevor for not being afraid and being able to put himself out there.

"Thanks, but what are you gonna do?" He asked getting off the couch and grabbing some chips from the cabinet.

"I don't know. I'll text him and apologize." I sighed and pulled out my close to dead phone.

To: Marcus<3

I'm sorry about the fight. Can I come back? I love you.

I hit send and placed my phone down. Trevor returned with the food and I gobbled up. Seconds later my phone was ringing and it was Marcus of course.

"I'm gonna go onto the balcony to answer this." I told Trevor with a smile and did as I said.

"Hi Marcus." I answered.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"No where..." I mumbled and should've known he was ask that.

"Tell me Lola." He demanded.

"Trevor's house."

"Of course."

"Marcus he is gay."

"Doesn't matter."

"Can I come back please?"

"Why don't you just move in with Trevor!"

"Marcus."

"Yes?"

"I want to come home! It's getting late!"

"Fine."

"Love y-" I was cut off by the phone being hung up. I rolled my eyes and told Trevor I would be on my way. I left his building made my way back to Marcus'.

I knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before my boyfriend opened up the door. We didn't speak as I came into the house and sat at the table. I looked around the house and avoided any contact with Marcus. He left the room and he came back with a blanket and pillow.

"Your sleeping on the couch." He said. I was about to gap my mouth open but it was his house, his rules. I grabbed the stuff and put it where I would be sleeping tonight. Right as Marcus was going to go to bed I spoke up.

"This is stupid. We shouldn't fight."

"You started it Lola." He replied without turning to face me.

"Yeah and now I'm finishing it. Can we just make up now?"

"You hurt me. You have been telling me all this time that you trusted me and you just dropped a bomb saying you didn't! I feel like like shit!" He confessed spinning around to meet my shaky gaze.

"You know I didn't mean that. I was upset. I love you Marcus but there is so much drama in this relationship." I said.

"Then let's see other people."
