Parent Backstory

~A/N~

This is just explaining how Levi met the readers mom and to set up the real story when it begins. Also if you have yet to watch the "No Regrets" episodes then you should, this might contain information from it.

~Backstory begin~

Annabell was just a young woman who lived alone with her mother because her suppose to be father left as soon as he heard her mother was pregnant with her. Even so, they were happy just the two of them. They were thankful that Annabell was more like her mother, cheerful and gentle lady's. Annabell even looked like her mother, silky brunette hair with dark green eyes (sorta like Eren's eyes but more green and darker.)

Then it all changed for them when thugs raided their home. They raped and killed her mother and would have done the same to Annabell but she escaped. She ran and hid crying and praying that they wouldn't find her, they never did. Annabell was left alone without food, water or warmth. She had no where else to go and had no idea what to do. She was starving and dehydrated and finally decided to try and do something she had never done, steal.

She was raised to be grateful, graceful and to never commit any crime no matter what or you would be punished. She didn't know how to fight and didn't have much muscle. When she tried to take some food she was swatted away and yelled at. She cried every day and cried herself to sleep at night. No one showed her any kindness, they just passed without a care for the lonely starving woman. Then one day as she sat against the wall and cried someone came up to her. "Here." Said a boy with short pale brown hair and grey eyes. He handed her some bread, water and a blanket.

Annabell took it and started to cry again continuously sputtering thank you's to the kind man,"Thank you! Thank you!" Then she heard another voice, but it had an annoyed tone.

"Tch, it's hardly anything. The food and water won't even last you the day and the blanket will barely keep you warm." She looked over to see another man standing behind the first guy. He had raven black hair and stormy grey eyes with a slightly disgusted face. "...Your filthy..."he mumbled.

She was a little annoyed at his comment,'well would you be clean if you where out here day and night with no other clothes or a shower' She thought to herself.

Then she realized she had seen the two before, they were pretty famous thugs. Annabell felt herself fill will both anger and fear. She started to cry again at the thought of why she was homeless in the first place and that they were probably going to kill her.

"Now look what you've done, you made her cry." The first guy said. "Hey its ok just ignore him." He placed his hands on her shoulders in attempt to calm her down but it only made her cry more.

"Please don't hurt me!" Annabell sputtered out tears continuously running down her dirty face.

"Why would we hurt you." The first guy said confused.

"Because your thugs, your gonna kill me, just like with mom." He gave her a slightly shocked look.

"What did your mom do?"

"Nothing! She was a good person, she would never do anything bad no matter what!" She yelled at him as more hot tears fall from her eyes.

"Well we wouldn't do such a thing, we were just trying to help a little. I'm sorry about your mom." He gave a kind smile.

"Tch, so your just going to sit there and cry about it." The other shorter man said stepping closer.

"What else could I do, mom was all I had." Annabell stood up to look at him face to face, but she was a few inches taller than him.
