A busy afternoon

~Still Eren's POV~

She stood us up straight and let go of me. "That wasn't so bad, right?" She giggled.

"Why did it have to be me?"

"I just thought it would be fun to pick on you, I've heard quite a bit about you."

"Really?" I asked surprised. 'Was it Corporal Levi who told her?' I thought to myself when someone came up from behind me and slapped me hard on the back, it was Connie.

He wore a wide grin across his face, "I didn't take you for a dancer Eren. I'm surprised." Yeah they're never gonna let me forget this.

We walked back over to stand with the rest of the crowd while (Y/N)'s band got ready to play another song. After 2 more songs they decided that was enough and bowed for the audience and then started to pack up. We walked over to them to congratulate them on a great first performance but instead ended up helping them pack up. When we were finally finished everyone said their good byes and left to go home. It was just (Y/N), Abigail, Elizabeth and us. Abigail's brothers went back into the shop but before they left they gave their little sister a pat on the head and winked at (Y/N). It was obvious she didn't like their flirting, so why didn't she just tell them off already?

Abigail gasped like she just saw the world's cutest dog and said, "You should marry my brothers so then we can be sisters!"

"Hell no! And definitely not both of them." (Y/N) said a little weirded out.

"But-"

"Never! Gonna! Happen!"

"Alright alright. It was just a thought. Don't get your panties in a twist." Abigail raised her hands in defeat.

(Y/N) huffed out a agitated breath, "Bye" She started to walk away.

"See ya." She yelled and Elizabeth waved quietly. Does this happen a lot, she got irritated fast. Maybe it's just her father's genes, Corporal does get irritated easily.

We walked back to their home in silence until Corporal spoke up, "Why don't you go hunt for some meat for dinner tonight with the soldiers while there's still plenty of light out. Hanji you'll go with them too."

"Yes sir." We answered.

Then (Y/N) let out a deep chuckle, "Alright I get it. You want some alone time with ma, huh?"

"Shut up. It's not like that." He said and if he were a normal person he would have been blushing, but Corporal doesn't blush.

(Y/N) let out a loud howl of laughter and I glanced over at my friends and they just shrugged. We arrived at their home and we grabbed some guns and bow and arrows.

"Alright we're off." (Y/N) said as we left.

We went to the stables to get our horses when I realized (Y/N) doesn't have a horse. "Hey I think your gonna have to ride with one of us." I told her.

"Nah. I'll just use my dad's horse." She answered grabbing the reins of the Corporals horse and pulled it out of its stall.

"Is he going to be alright with that?" Jean asked.

"I'm sure it's fine." She said not worried that he might get really mad about it.

We all exchanged looks of worry like we might get in trouble for this. Then we hoped onto our horses and rode off to the forest. Sasha was already bragging about how good at hunting she is and she drooled when she talked about all the different things we could cook and how to cook it.

When we got to the forest we kind of just split up to do our own thing. Sasha and Connie worked together, Jean and Hanji worked together, and (Y/N) worked alone. Armin, Mikasa and I worked together of course. We decided to make this into a competition, whoever can catch the biggest animal in an hour will get dinner made however they want. After we decided on a meeting place then we all set off in different directions to find the best catch.

~Levi's POV~

Finally there gone. Annabell took a seat at the table and rested her feet on the chair next to her. I'm sure she's tired of walking around with the extra weight of our unborn child. I'm hoping that means she'll be to tired to argue back.

"So, we're not really going to be doing, that, are we?" Annabell asked me. I looked at her unsure of what she was talking about. Then I realized she meant what (Y/N) thought we were going to be doing.

"No." I sat across from her.

"Then what is it?"

"You know who Erwin Smith is, correct?"

"Yes, he's Commander of the Survey Corps. Why?"

I didn't say anything for a moment. I gazed down at the table then up to meet the uneasy stare of my wife. I could tell she already didn't like what I was going to say. "He wants me to bring in (Y/N) to make a soldier."

"Absolutely not!" She raged on me.

"We're hoping she has the skill considering she's my daughter and holds the Ackerman name."

"What does being an Ackerman have to do with this?"

"Ackerman have a reputation for being strong and skilled soldiers."

"Your basing this on you and that other Ackerman, Mikasa. Even if she proves to be a valuable soldier I'm not comfortable with letting her risk her life." She gave me her best worried mother look.

"I'm not happy with this either but-"

"Then why would you go along with it?!" She slammed her fists on the table.

"We need the help. Her life won't matter if we lose this war because then we'll all die. She'll be with me at all times outside the walls. I won't leave her nor will I let her get hurt, I promise." I reached across the table and held her hand.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes thinking it all over. Then her expression changed to a mix of worry and shock then pain.

"What's wrong?" I asked ready to call a doctor.

"My water just broke."

Uh oh, child about to be born. Anyway, sorry I didn't update last Saturday. I went out and it was like 12 and I was tired and had a friend stay over. But here it is, chapter 6(I'm not really counting the parent backstory as chapter 1)! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I'll be updating Saturdays.
