Joining the Survey Corps

"Pack up, (Y/N). Your coming with." Levi told his daughter.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened in surprise, "Really?"

"Yes, we're going to make you a soldier."

(Y/N) jumped out of her seat making her chair fall over, "YES!!" She yelled excitedly. "Alright, don't leave yet I'll be right back!" She said as she ran out the door as fast as she could.

Annabell sighed, "I guess I'll pack her things." She handed her husband their baby and walked back upstairs.

"Are you sure about this Levi?" Hanji asked.

There was a pause before he answered, "...no"

~Another mini time skip~

The soldiers had gotten their horses and were still waiting for (Y/N) in front of the house. After waiting for about another 5 minutes they saw (Y/N) running to them, but Abigail and Elizabeth were following behind her with their own packed bags. "Okay, let's go." (Y/N) said out of breath.

"What are they doing here?" Levi asked.

"They're coming along, of course. I can't just leave them." (Y/N) said smiling at her friends.

"Let's go!" Abigail yelled excitedly climbing onto the back of Jean's horse. "Hi, I'm Abigail." She introduced herself to the man(horse).

"Um, hi." He responded awkwardly.

"I promise we'll work hard." Elizabeth told Levi, then walked over to Mikasa's horse and asked politely, "Um, may I ride on your horse with you, miss?"

"Sure" Mikasa said helping Elizabeth up onto the horse, "and you can call me Mikasa."

"Right, sorry. I'm Elizabeth, nice to meet you Mikasa." They shook hands then Mikasa turned forward again waiting to leave.

"Here's your stuff, (Y/N). I got your guitar too, I thought you might want to bring it." Annabell motioned toward her backpack and guitar not being able to pick it up and hand it to her because she was holding Tsukiko.

"Thanks!" (Y/N) gave her mother a hug and kissed Tsukiko on the head then grabbed her things and got onto her father's horse. Abigail and Elizabeth also packed their favorite instrument so they could disturb the other soldiers. Abigail is bringing her trumpet and Elizabeth is bringing her violin.

After their final goodbyes they rode off back to headquarters. (Y/N) took her guitar out of its case trying not to drop anything and started to strum it. Abigail started to sing random lyrics about horses, she even mentioned in her song how Jean had the face of a horse. You could even hear Hanji humming along.

Elizabeth sat quietly on the back of Mikasa's horse not joining in on the obnoxious singing or pulling out her violin to play with (Y/N). "What's wrong?" Mikasa asked.

Elizabeth deep sighed before answering, "I'm just not sure about joining the Survey Corps. I don't want to leave (Y/N) or Abigail but I'm also afraid of going outside the walls into Titan territory." She explained.

"We'll train you until you've become a great soldier. We won't let you go on expeditions until we think you're ready."

"You train many great soldiers yet they still die."

"You have great friends that will protect you. If you stay by (Y/N) that means you'll be with Corporal Levi too."

"I just don't think I'll be good enough to keep up with all of you. I'm not very strong or fast." Elizabeth kept getting quieter and quieter.

"Neither is my friend Armin, but he's very smart and he's still alive." Mikasa said looking over at Armin, Elizabeth's eyes follow and she takes a good long look at him. Elizabeth stopped talking and kept glancing over at Armin the whole ride.

~Time skip to outside headquarters~

It was about lunch time when headquarters came into view and (Y/N) just finished singing a song about how short Levi is. It's a good thing they have finally made it to there destination because Levi was just about ready to break his daughters guitar over someone's head.

As they rode to the stables they caught the attention of many passing soldiers. They put their horses away in their stalls and Levi turned to the cadets and said, "Go eat lunch then get back to training. Hanji watch them for me. Make sure they don't slack off." They all nodded and left.

He turned to the three girls saying, "You three come with me." Then he started to walk off. The girls looked at each other with wide smiles then walked after the short man.

As they walked they passed soldiers who would continuously glance at them then whisper to their friends. (Y/N) and Abigail enjoyed the attention but Elizabeth tried to avoid their stares and hide behind Abigail. (Y/N) was looking around as she followed her father but she didn't notice him stopping and bumped into him causing Abigail and Elizabeth to also bump into them.

He turned and looked at them. They took a couple steps back and smiled at him hoping he wouldn't get mad. He just 'tch' them and faced forward again and knocked on the door.

"Name and business." They heard a man's voice come from the other side of the door.

"It's Levi, I'm back with some new recruits."

"Enter." Levi opened the door walking in with the girls. The girls looked around the room until their eyes landed on a blonde man with weird eyebrows.

"Are those eyebrows or really fuzzy caterpillars?" (Y/N) leaned over whispering to her friends.

"Think they're fake?" Abigail whispered back.

"Shh, don't be rude." Elizabeth put her finger to her lips telling them to be quiet.

"You must be (Y/N)." Erwin stood from his desk disturbing the girls shushing fight. He walked over and stood in front of (Y/N) holding out his hand, "I'm Commander Erwin Smith."

(Y/N) moved her finger from her lips and shook the man's hand. "Are these two friends?" He asked looking at the two awkward girls. "Yes they are and we're gonna become the best soldiers you've ever had!"
