After three months

Sorry for such a late update, I really did mean to put this up a lot sooner but then all my classes threw projects at me and I got super busy. Anyways, enough excuses, here's the chapter I added to. Enjoy!

~Story~

After lunch we would do combat training and other exercises. It was like this for about a month until we learned how to use the 3D maneuver gear. I already knew how to use it so I was ahead of Abigail and Elizabeth. As time passed, Maxwell continued too bully me. My friends, including Eren, always stuck up for me though. I wouldn't say my friends drifted away from me but they did start making other friends. Elizabeth hung out with Mikasa a lot, they had become pretty close. Abigail was always popular and easy to make friends so there was a lot of different people she would spend her time with. But I think she liked to spend more time with Jean than any of the other cadets. She's probably got the hots for him.

During training one day there was incident. We were doing 3DMG training and my friends and I turned it into a competition. Abigail and I were tied for first place. I searched for another fake titan. I swung from a tree and landed on a branch to take a moment to look around. I scanned the area around me until I saw in the distance a fake titan. I smirked and shot of towards it. I jumped off the side of a tree and did a cool spin towards the fake titans nape. As I came in from above something came in from the side. It was Abigail, but I didn't have time to react to this. My blades sliced through something, something that was not the titans neck. I heard Abigail scream and I glided down to where she landed on the ground. When I ran up next to her I saw she was sitting on her legs bent over with her head in her hands.

"Abigail! Are you ok?" I asked, concern in my voice and fear on my face. She didn't answer. I kneeled down next to her and touched my hand to her shoulder, asking again if she was alright.

She lifted her head and I noticed she held something in her hands. When I realized what it was I couldn't help but burst out laughing. She sent me a death glare as I clutched my stomach from the heavy laughter. "Oh my gosh, I thought you were hurt." I continued to laugh.

In her hands was her very own braid. What was once the beautiful long braid swinging side to side behind her head was now laying limp in her hands. The sun light that seeped down from between the trees glazed over the dead braid making it shine a golden copper color.

"It's not funny!" She yelled at me.

"I'm sorry, I'm just glad you're not hurt."

Soon after that, my father showed up. He must have heard Abigail's girly scream. Then came lunch and I ran into the cafeteria, leaving Abigail and my father behind. I saw Jean and Eren sitting at a table waiting for the rest of their friend group to show up. I walked closer to them, "Hey Jean, catch!" I said and threw the braid at him. He caught it and when he felt the strange item in his hand he threw it on the table disgusted.

"What is that?" Eren asked not daring to touch it.

"Abigail's braid." I replied casually as I picked it up.

Then I heard the doors open again and in came my father followed by an angry Abigail. When father saw the brain in my hands his expression changed from disinterest to disgust. "Why are you still holding onto that? Throw it away already."

"No, I wanna keep." I said in a really creepy way, cuddling it to my face.

I kept it in a box for two days when I came back from training the next day and it was gone. I found out my father threw it away while I was out, I was sad that night. After that training mishap we got someone to fix Abigail's hair, which was now a pixie cut.
