Chapter 1
Ever since the day of my mothers death, I've been living with the Mayor of Mineral Town, Mr Thomas. He cared for me and protected me under my will. As i grew older Mr.Thomas showed me how to do things on a farm. I knew one day i would have my own farm for my own...then one day. I did! Mr.Thomas called my name
"Claire!!"
Today is a day your about to grow up, your going to be living on a farm for your own." He started to look upset as he finished his little speech. When he finished i hugged him and smiled for a very long time. It sorta creeped him out. Then after we walked to the farm.
As we got to the farm I was jumping inside of excitement but on the outside I stayed calm but still smiled happily.
When we got to the farm it was a old, run down, and ugly looking. I looked at Thomas confused
"This is my farm?" I said.
He then explained how this was work of a farmer and how a 18 year old can handle it. Then the whole parent talk of being careful and responsible. At the farm was a barn,a chicken coop, and a little house. We walked in the house and there was a bed,table, a bookshelf and a tv.
"Where can i make food?" I said. Thomas said I will have to save up money for a kitchen. I looked at the house for a little and then we were just standing in silence. Thomas then breaks the silence by saying his goodbyes and wishes me good luck.
