Chapter 6
Pov Claire
"Well Claire your fine and free to go!" Doctor said. It was the next day and i felt much better! I was happy to get home and back on the farm. Even though there wasn't alot to get back to. That makes me wonder...I should get some animals. I should probably check out the prices then. I think il take it easy today and go looking around to find some. On my way there, Gray was walking to the blacksmith.
"Hi Gray!!" I say smiling.
He looks at me sorta of angry like. "Hi..." He says while walking away
I can't believe him! What did i do! Well whatever it is... I'm busy. I'll ask him later. I get to the Poultry Farm and see Rick and Popuri. "Claire!" Popuri calls out to me.
"Yeah, what's up Popuri!" I say
"What happened to you and Gray? I thought your to we're a thing..." She asks concerned
"What, Popuri you're crazy, were not dating...I think he might like Mary." I say to her
Popuri looks at me with a glare.
"Claire are you...do you like Cliff now!" "Popuri stop!! Where do you here all of this from!"
"We'll I kinda saw you and Cliff last night before I left..." She says looking away
"You what!! We were just talking, like friends.."
"Oh..well I also kind of told Gray... I figured he should probably know since you're off flirting with someone else!" Popuri says with her hands folded looking right at me
"POPURI!!!" I scream
I got so mad at her I could have killed her with the hammer in my backpack!
"Popuri that's why Gray looked mad at me today, I have to talk to him!"
Well i guess taking it easy wasnt on my list of things to do, I have to go see Gray!
Gray's POV
(Sigh) well today I'm working at Blacksmith, as usual.. I just walked in and now I feel so empty. Maybe it was because of Claire. I wonder...if...this new guy, Cliff, has a thing for Claire. Im not jealous or anything...or maybe I am. I kind of like Claire but then again....I kind of like Mary. I dont know who I really have feelings for yet.. They're both just my close friends.
(Ding Ding!)Claire rushes in as the bell goes off!
"Gray i have to talk to you!!" Claire says screaming.
"Gray you have 10 minutes to talk but then get back to work!" Saribara says.
Me and Claire then head outside.
"Look Gray I'm sorry! I dont have a thing for Cliff! We're just friends!
"No its ok..im fine." I say looking away
"Gray I know you're jealous...but.."
But before she could finish her sentence i get so angry....i was so enraged!!!
"CLAIRE IM NOT JEALOUS.....just leave me alone!"
I leave Claire outside and slam the door. I just can't believe she would think that...I feel sorta bad for what i said maybe I am jealous. But I won't be the only one...after work...I'm going to go hang out with Mary, and then we'll see who's jealous...
