Hi everyone this is the Harvest Moon Christmas Special for : Love?

This story has nothing to with the main story itself. This is just a short story to go along with the holidays! So everyone have a Merry Christmas and enjoy this short story! In this story Claire and Gray will begin dating (thought I'd mix it up) but Cliff comes in last minute to say his proposal. What will Claire do?

Merry Christmas?

POV: Claire

Well tomorrow is the day of Christmas I just finished putting up my red stocking over the fireplace! It was a nice night and my cute dog, Max, was just chewing on his bone. I was watching the day before Christmas special on the harvest sprite channel. I was drinking hot chocolate and eating popcorn all cozy. Everything was great.... *Ding dong!* Until I had to answer the door.

At the door was.... GRAY!!!! Gray stood at my front door with tuxedo on and red roses in his hand. He was blushing hot like a tomatoe. I was wearing my silk pjs that goes down to my knees. How embarrassing.. So I pulled down my little dress trying to make it not that noticible. While Gray then got down on his knee and said "Will you be me girlfriend..." I stood there in complete shock and said... Yes! I then let him in and started asking him questions why was he came so sudden and why is he here so late and all this other stuff! He answered them all and we both had hot chocolate and popcorn and felt like it was the perfect night!

The next morning I woke up drooling on the table.... But Gray was still here!! What happened last night?? It was Christmas Day but I didn't ask for a boy sleeping on my table. "Zzzzzzzzz..." Hes snoring so loud I couldn't even hear the tv for today's weather. I went to the bathroom to change into my Christmas dress for today. (just in case if Gray woke I didn't want to be half dressed...) The dress was green and red with lace on the back and bottom of the dress.

I came out and Gray was half asleep, he probably was wondering where he was too. I put on my winter coat and then lightly tapped his head. I tried to act all sweet and said
"Gray.. Sweetie time to wake up, I'm going out to the farm so help yourself to breakfast!" I sounded just like a wife and I pranced out the door!

I worked on the farm in the cold till the evening. Gray Eventually left back to the inn around 2:00. He thanked me for staying the night and we were both blushing and smiling as usual. It was around 6:00pm when I went inside for the rest of the day.

I picked up a new chew toy for Max for Christmas and even bought myself a silver watering can for the spring when it rolls around. I put away my jacket and then turned on the night time Christmas show for the evening. Then at the door Gray showed up again with a Christmas present for me!

I was so excited but the door rang again and Cliff was there! What a surprise... Cliff was always crushing on me no wonder why he was here. I left him in after Gray and they both had the same presents in there hand. It seemed a if they both had to tell me something... Gray told me "Merry Christmas Claire." and handed the gift to me shyly but cute! Then Cliff got down on his knees. (just like Gray did...) This time I was more shocked then ever to see what he would say.

He said "Claire I want to spend Christmas with you for a long time... Here's your gift and I want a gift from you... Will you be my girlfriend..."

This time I felt guilty and stood there with a shocked emotion.. I was stunned.. Almost as if tears could come down my face. I told Cliff il think about it... And then Gray over heard me.

"What do you mean you will think about it, are you dumping me..."

I felt very pressured... I took a deep breath and said

"guys your all wonderful but honestly let's just all be friends!" They both seemed disappointed and agreed. I made them some hot tea and we all sat down for Christmas in my house with awkward silence of... Friends?

Merry Christmas?
