Chapter 17
Cliff then looked at me in shock of what I did. He then spoke "I thought you hated me..." I looked down to the floor trying to sound innocent. "I never said that... I was kinda mad but...umm I missed you. I just needed to get that through my thick skull. I'm such an idiot." We then sat quietly wondering what to do next. I wondered to myself if all this time I really liked Cliff. So I went for it.... "Cliff will you be my boyfriend?"
Cliff said yes eagerly like he was gonna bounce out of his chair. I was also smiling like a squirrel from the excitement. Inside of me I could feel the harvest goddess congratulating me and telling me I did the right thing. I then let myself out and walked home.
When I finally got home I saw a letter in the mailbox. I grabbed the letter and brought it inside with me. Once I got inside, I opened it. It had a heart sticker on it and it was from........
GRAY!!!! The letter said
Dear Claire,
I'm sorry it's been so long since we seen each other, I moved to to a great new place in Forget Me not Valley. Unfortunately I'm not coming back, but I have a offer for you, I want to be with you once again. Come to Forget Me not and we can be together.
I didn't know what to say. I just got a new boyfriend and now he comes crawling back. I don't know what to say... Should I be go back or should I stay?
