Chapter 31
POV: Claire
"Hello?"
"Hey this is Jill, is Claire speaking?"
"Yes this is her! What's up sister!"
"Well...me and Gray are thinking of coming back to Mineral town for a trip today! Maybe you and a friend can show us around, and we can all meet up?"
"Um... well I don't know..."
"Well I'm your sister, and you have no choice, so bye!"
*hangs up*
What the heck? I wake up to that call!
It was 8:00am this morning and I received a call from my sister Jill. I guess her and Gray are coming back for a while..
Who should I bring to hang around my sister with...Eh..I'll decide later.
Later on in the afternoon
On the farm under the apple tree
It's so nice out and peaceful...hmm I wonder what time it is? Yawn...
1 hour later
"Good morning Claire, GET UP!" screamed someone
"What the-!" i yelled
"Were you sleeping this whole time! I told you we were coming!"
In my face, there was Jill and Gray looking down on me from under my tree.
"So are you ready to show us around, maybe we all go get some lunch? More importantly...who are you bringing with us for this little trip?' Jill says
Jill starts nudging my shoulder with a devious smile on her face.
"um...I'm bringing...um..Cliff? Yes..Cliff!"
"You don't seem so sure about him coming.." Jill said
"That's because....um...he had some work to do.... so I don't know if he was coming or not..but I'll go find out, you and Gray can go inside and make yourself comfortable."
By then I was half way out of my farm and running to the Inn. When I arrived at the Inn I came in screaming Cliffs name.
"CLIFF!!!" I yelled
I seemed to be getting stares from all across the Inn. I then saw Cliff alone at a table eating a salad. With people glaring at me, I slowly made my way over to Cliffs table.
"What do you want'?....you kinda started a scene.." Cliff said hesitantly
"I need your help... My sister told me earlier that her and Gray were coming to Mineral Town to look around today. She wanted me to join her and told me to bring someone so i wont feel like a third wheel. I may have....sorta waited the last minute to choose someone...and now she's here and I didnt choose anyone.. so can you be that "friend"?"
Cliff was quiet for a moment before answering.
"I thought you were the older sister to boss her around...ha ha. Hmm...well I don't really know how good our friendship is..but I guess so, just to help you out." Cliff said
"I am the older sister -.- but oh my harvest goddess, thank you so much, c'mon we need to go now, oh yeah...if Jill mentioned anything about your "work" um.. make something up, ok?"
