Chapter 5
Pov Cliff
So I just moved to this town not to long ago and I don't really have any friends. I don't really know how I ended up at this place I just want to know how am I going to be able to talk to people. Im very shy and not good with speaking. Yesterday a strange girl walked up with the name of Claire. She seemed friendly. I moved in the inn not to close by from where I met her. Turns out that when I got here, I have to share a room with two other people! Hurray.... Well I guess maybe i'll go introduce myself.
Pov Claire
Yawn... What a beautiful morning!! I want to get to know that new person....But I don't have time. Time to clear out weeds, branches, and stones!
A few hours later....
(Faints) ugh...so tired. *Falls on the ground.*
Next thing I know, here I am in the hospital.
I see Gray, Mary,Ann,Popuri,Karen, Rick, and the new guy Cliff all there with me. Mary, Ann, Popuri, and Karen, are all my girl friends! Mary is the librarian with black hair, round glasses and a blue dress. She is sort of shy. Ann is always cheery with orange hair, and has blue overalls like mine.
Popuri is also very happy and cheery with Pink hair and a pretty red dress. Karen is not as cheery, she's a little mean with orange/brown hair with a tee shirt and shorts on. Rick is a guy friend with glasses orange hair and his normal green tee shirt and pants. And you guys already know Gray.
In the hospital room everybody is looking at me, I feel embarrassed because everyone is looking at me! And my skin looks blue!!!! I must have been working to hard.
"Hey guys...." I say still kind of groggy
Popuri looks happy im awake! " Your ok!! Please don't ever work so hard again!" She says
" I promise not to!" I say
Everybody looks relieved.
"Guys how did i get here??" Ann says "that guy named Cliff brought you here."
I look completely embarrassed now....
"Oh cool..., and thank you Cliff"
Cliff just says no problem. Gray looked very worried at me!!
"Are you ok!!!" He asks worriedly
" I'm fine Gray! Dont worry". By then everybody had to leave, even Gray. Cliff was the last one to leave.
"Wait Cliff!!" I say
"Yeah..." He says quietly
"How did you get me here?"
"I umm... was walking around town to greet people.. And I met you yesterday so I came to see where your farm was...and then I saw you on the ground so i called for help..."
"Oh my! Im sorry you had to do that."
" It's fine..."
He then walks over to me and we talk for a while and even make a few jokes. Cliff didn't seem all that shy now! Hehe :) We talked so long it got dark. Cliff sat on the hospital bed I was laying on and we began to talk again. We ended up reaching a moment of silence, where we began just staring into each others eyes. Me heart started racing but I just couldn't help but to stare right back. But I think Cliff felt a little scared also and used the "I got to go" excuse. I said goodbye, and he said he will visit me tomorrow!
The doctor said i fainted from exhaustion, so now i have to stay here over night to rest! Oh well. I better get some rest, what a day!
