Chapter 12 -Marriage? A goddess?

Chapter 12

Gray walks into the room and I try talking to him but i couldn't stop crying. But I just couldn't... Tell him what's going on

He says to me
"Hey Baby...what's wrong."

I had no idea what to say...I tried to think of something to make up but I couldn't think of anything. Umm...il have to tell him my chicken got sick or something.

"Gray...it's awful, my chicken is sick and I just bought him yesterday!"

I hope that sounded believable...

He looks at me like I'm crazy and says

"Why don't you just give it medicine?"

Now he really has me chocked up...

"Oh yeah...medicine. I should use that..."

I say, wiping away tears. Gray doesn't say anything and then pulls out a bright blue necklace. "Awww it's lovely Gray, thank you!"

He then gives me a kiss on the cheek and then leaves out the door.

After he left I thought I would go and get some fresh air. So I decided I would walk down to the Inn and get some dinner. I then see my old friend Elli and Doctor Trent sitting down laughing and giggling.

Elli is a food friend to me. She is doctor Trent's girlfriend and also his assistant. I go over by them and say
"Hey guys what's up?"
They were both smiling when they saw me.
"What are you guys smiling about?"

Doctor Trent then says "We're getting married!" Wow I was shocked and happy for them. But I was also disappointed because I just realized the whole reason I came out here. So I could get some fresh air and away from what happened with me and Cliff ....so I just put my happy face on and said congratulations and then left. It's weird...I didn't even get dinner while I was in there.

I ended up walking over to the Harvest Goddess pond. The Harvest Goddess is a beautiful sea goddess that protects everyone here. She used to live in this pond... But no one has seen her for years. I went over to the pond and sat down to take in the fresh air. I looked across at the beautiful blue water and flowers around the pond. I also noticed the hot spring next to the pond. I decided to go by it and put my feet in the hot water. I then heard a noise... I sorta jump as I was scared from whatever it was. I then heard a splash from the harvest goddess pond...

Next thing I know I see a women appear from the water. I stood up in shock. I think she was the goddess.....she was wearing a green dress and yellow elegant dress. With green hair and eyes. That all matched together with her beautiful gold on her bracelets and and gold bands in her hair, with milky skin to tie it all together. I looked at her waiting for her to speak.

"Dear child it seems that you have been troubled by such foolishness. Please talk to him to save your friendship and your relationship."

I still starred at her in a daze. Still wondering if this was a dream.
"Claire it appears you are at a loss for words. Talk to Cliff about what happened earlier. I the goddess knows all. Please come to summon me by dropping a nice gift into the pond once in a while my dear. Toodles!"
And she was gone drifting away back into the water.

After her exit, I then slapped myself back to reality. I then thought to myself....wow. That was nuts, even if that goddess or whoever she was fake, she still was right. I need to talk
to Cliff so I won't mess up our friendship and I need to make sure Gray doesn't find out....I still wonder...who was that goddess lady?.
