Chapter 26- Mother

Chapter 26

I was carried away, unable to speak.

When i awoke... i was in a world i never been before.

"Claire...Claire..wake up.. your safe now."

I started to open my eyes. And i didnt know what to expect. When they were fully open... i was back to that day. I was inside the Goddess Pond. I was inside the worst memory of my life.

"Hello Claire... Do you remember me?"

In front of me.. was a beautiful lady. Curly blonde hair, red dress, freckles on her face, and blue eyes.

It was my mother in front of me...

I said nothing but cried and cried and as I ran into her arms. I didnt no where I was or how I got here. All i knew is....I missed my mom..

We were inside of the goddess pond. What seemed like a ocean which people can breathe under was really like memory world. Their were fish everywhere, but people too. The people were more like spirts. It was a strange but huge world under. Everyone swam under water. But every corner u turn was a different memory from someones pass.

In front of me was my memory, which seemed like the biggest one.

"Claire...you do remember me..but you also remember the other side of me too, don't you?"

My mother then transformed from the lady I always rembered, to the lady i always knew.

She was the goddess....

I always knew something was strange about her...haha..maybe it was obvious from the start.

"Claire.. im the goddess of this sea and you're my daughter. I always loved you but, i couldn't care for you because of my death. After my death i was then crowned the goddess of this ocean of all the memories in life. You and your sister are my biggest memory. You guys wont ever forget about it..and you're something I will never forget."

"Wait...does that mean I'm dead?" i said

"You were really close..dont get to close to the cold again. But you must get back to the harvest world before it's too late." the goddess said

"Wait...but mom...will I see you again?"

"Drop a gift in the pond..and you'll see me."

Thats all she said... and I was then back where i belonged.

I woke up again.. as if i were in another dream. But this time i woke up in a hospital bed.

"Shes awake!" a voice said.

"Huh? Where am i now?" i said

i woke up in the hospital, like i did the last time i fainted. Cliff, Jill and Gray were their.

"Jill and Gray! What are you guys doing here?"

"Our wedding is in 2 days, we have some work to do. So do you, Cliff told us the news. Congrats. But you shouldn't be collapsing like this before your wedding." Gray said

"You're right...but its good to see to see you guys. I missed you!

"I missed you too sis!" Jill yelled

It was few hours into the next morning. I felt like I had been up all night. Gray and Jill went to the Inn to stay the night. I was still in the hospital with Cliff. He ended up falling asleep on the coach next to my bed.

When I woke up the next morning, I realized I had one day until my wedding... I left the hospital and Cliff went to my house to stay the night. That morning I left Cliff sleeping and went to my mothers grave... I told her thank you, and to bless my wedding.
