Chapter 4 Pov Claire
When we got to my house I ask Gray if he knew how to plant seeds.
He says no.
(That would have been useful information a while ago!)
"We'll just have to figure it out ourselves." I said.
Gray said ok and we began to start . "So Gray there are some tools in my house, I'm going to go get something we can use to plant with."
A few hours later....
"Oh my god that was hard!" Gray said.
"Yeah maybe we should take a break." I say.
We end up sitting on the side of a big rock in the middle of my farm surrounded by weeds an branches. I've known Gray for a while. And I started to take a liking to him....and I wanted to tell him that but never found the right moment.. I think this is might be my chance.
"Hey Gray.." I say
"Yeah?"
" Well umm...are you in a relationship with anyone right now or are you taking a liking to anyone at the moment?"
Gray blushes, and really doesn't say anything. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. But then he speaks.
"No why?" His blushing slowly went away.
I decided to just say no reason. Maybe I should wait a a while. I ask Gray if he wants to go to the mine to make things less awkward. He nods and we start walking. On our way I see a guy I haven't met before. I tell Gray I'll be right back and run over to the man. I left Gray with a confused look on his face. It was actually sorta funny. When I catch up with the man he gives me that "what are you doing in my face look". He had brown hair up in a ponytail and a vest like outfit with fur at the neck of the vest.
I then then said "hi"
Maybe I should have introduced myself instead of leaving him confused.
"Hi I'm Claire I'm the farmer here, and I never seen you around here before!"
That sounds better to say! He then says "Hi I'm Cliff.... I moved here not to long ago...."
"Cool well I hope we can be good friends!"
Cliff was really cute!! But from what I see he's sorta shy. I hope we can be close friends. Maybe I can wait a while to tell Gray what I wanted to say. I go back to Gray, but by the time I get there it was almost dark. We end up not going to the mine and I head home to think things through.
