What I Say:
Like in everything, practice makes perfect. It's weird, but you have to practice being imaginative. I like what the second half of this quote has to say even more. It's just great. People tend to assume only kids can be imaginative - maybe because they have imaginary friends, I don't know. Anyway, if that were true, how do adults write such great works of fiction or invent new, unique contraptions? Adults have more life experience, so it makes sense that they would've exercised their imagination more and therefore be more imaginative. They can also use their imaginations in more constructive ways than most kids can. Interesting, right?
