-Amanda's P.O.V-
I woke up this morning feeling happier than I have in a long time. Jack has that effect on me, it's strange.
I got up and looked at my phone.
5 missed calls from Jack Gilinsky
I had never missed so many calls from him. I called him back. He answered quickly.
"Hey. Why did you call so many times. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. It's just I know this is a bad time but Jack and I just hit a million followers-"
I interrupted him "holy shit Jack congrats!"
"Thanks but that's not all.." It was silent for a second "we decided to make more music and we can't leave the studio until like 10:30. We'll be super busy and I didn't expect this so soon" he sighed.
"It's okay. I understand and don't think I would be mad at you for living your dream" I could literally see the smile on his face.
"Thank you. I'll figure out times where you can at least come and listen to us."
"Okay sounds good"
"I gotta go. Bye"
"Bye" I hung up and sat in my bed for a while longer. I decided to call Brooke because I haven't talked to her in a while.
She immediately picked up "hey Amanda. What's up?"
"Oh nothing I just thought that we could go to the mall. Want to?" I could hear her excitement.
"Yes! I'll be over in 15." I laughed and hung up to get ready. I still haven't told her about Jack and I but I knew she would be happy. She would always try to get us together.
About 15 minutes later she texted me that she was outside. I ran downstairs and got into her car.
"Hey you look cute"
"Thanks" I blushed.
On the way there I had explained to her about Jack and I. She got so excited she almost recked.
"No way!! I told you guys!" I just laughed at her.
We got to the mall and walked in. It smelled like too much cologne and perfume, like always.
She really wanted to go to Hollister, so we did. We shopped until we got hungry. I went to a line with her and ordered. Once we had our food, we picked a spot. Right next to us was a table filled with guys and they kept looking and Brooke and I.
She looked like she thought they were cute because she would glance over and twirl her hair. It was funny to see her flirt like that.
Soon 2 of the guys came over and pulled up some chairs.
"Hey. I'm Cameron" one said.
"I'm Shawn" the other boy said. They introduced themselves and continued to sit.
"I'm Brooke and this is Amanda" she bit her lip and stared at Cameron. I knew it.
"They seem to like each other" Shawn nudged my elbow and smiled.
"Yeah I guess so. Why did you guys come over here?"
His face turned a brighter red than it already was "we thought you both were cute."
I nodded and looked over at Brooke. She was still acting like an idiot but it worked on him. He was doing the same thing.
Shawn and I sat in silence just watching Cameron and Brooke. He turned to me "could I have your number?"
I had to rethink it because I didn't even know him "I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend and I don't know you" I slowly chuckled.
"I was asking so we could be friends" he laughed and my face turned red from embarrassment. I couldn't believe I just said that. I pulled out my phone and handed it to him. He did the same and I put my contact info. Cameron and Brooke did the same and Shawn managed to pull him away. They told us that they would text us tonight. It was strange, I used to never be able to talk like that and I would never have anyone approach me.
"He was hot!" Brooke exaggerated the 'hot' part. I shook my head and giggled.
A few hours later we left. When I got home I called Jack.
"Hey. I'm glad you called"
"Is it okay to talk?"
"Yeah I have some free time" I sighed because I wanted to talk to him.
"I miss you"
"I miss you too. I get a break tomorrow so I'm planning to come over" I grinned. This was the only week so far that he would have to be stuck in the studio. He began to tell me about their new song that they would release with the other one they're working on. He played a little bit of the song and let me tell you it was amazing. I knew their fans would love it.
