"It's just a game, or is it?!"

In The Sewer Lair

Tired and overwhelmed after the recent events of Wormquake, the turtles choose to take time off of their normal routines and play a new RPG game that they discovered in a sewer tunnel named Mazes & Mutants.  Raph was very bored by the game while the others were having lots of fun figuring out many of its principles. "No! You can't! No! No! No! No!" Mikey yells as Leo throws the dice that lands on a 9 and Leo takes down Mikey's elf. "My +1 ring of awesome didn't save me. Avenge me." Mikey said as he looks at his big pink ring that Tasneem made for him. Mikey then grabs Raph who was still bored. "Ahh, avenge the beloved elf." Mikey said making Raph push Mikey off him making Mikey fall down. "Relax, Mikey. Your elf is fine. For now." Leo said to him making Mikey jump up and back on his seat. "But suddenly, your party is attacked by evil, vicious monkey goblins!" Leo yells as he place down some monkey goblines minifigures on the table. "You are enjoying this a lot." Jesse said to Leo. "Well, I enjoy making a story." Leo said to her. "Dungeon Master, that is what the role is called." Cheyenne said to him. "Oh, yeah that is what it's called. I thought it was just called the Story Marker." Tasneem said to them. "I guess it is the same thing in some way." Jamey said to her. "Anyways, you have to roll a 2 or higher, to avoid being bitten." Leo said to them making the group roll their dices but Raph and the dice lands on a 20. "20." Mikey and Tasneem said at the same time then Raph rolls and it lands on a 1. "1." Raph said then Tasneem hugs him. "Critical fail." Tasneem said to him. "What are the odds of us getting a 20 and you getting a 1." Jamey said as she laughs while Raph gently pushes Tasneem away. "Poor Raph." Jesse said playfully. "The monkey goblin bites. Raph loses 11 hit points." Leo said to Raph. "11?! Give me that!" Raph yells as he grabs the dices from the table. "I'm gonna use my magic sword +3 to strike." Raph said to them as Splinter enters the kitchen. Splinter was over the freezer where Ice-Cream Kitty was living in. "Meows." Kitty said as it hands Splinter a frozen cheese treat then Splinter looks at the turtles. "Hmm. What is all of this?" Splinter asks them as he closes the freezer. "It's called Mazes & Mutants." Tasneem said to him as she shows Splinter the box. "We found it in the trash up top." Jesse said to him. "A game?" Splinter said as he takes the box. "Don't you have mutagen to find?" Splinter asks them. "But, Sensei, we just beat the Kraang and Shredder's forces. We could use just one day to relax." Donnie said to him as Splinter gives the box back to Tasneem. "I cannot understand why you play a fantasy game when your lives are already fantastic." Splinter said to them. "Me next!" Tasneem yells as she grabs her dices. "I want to give everyone heals!" Tasneem yells and she rolls the dice. "Aw, yeah! Heals for everyone." Tasneem said to them. "Something is not right here." Splinter said to himself.

Somewhere, someone was watching them through his mystic orb. "Excellent, my fellow anthropomorphized animals. Play to thine heart's content, for thy true game is about to beginith." He said then the wizard laughs evilly as his brown eyes narrow and glares at the turtles.

Later That Night

The turtles was watching tv until Leo and Mikey leave the main room and go to the kitchen. 

"It's Mind Master!" Zee yells as Coolstar attempts to fight Mind Master but Mind Master uses his abilities to stop his attack. "Take this and so on, Dash Coolstar!" Mind Master yells then he cast a spell on Dash. "Dash, what's wrong?" Lunk asks him. "Mind master. He's filling my brain with horror and madness. I'm trapped in my own mind!" Coolstar  yells. "You can fight against it, Dash! I believe in you to break free. Yes, I do!" Zee yells then he breaks free. "No! His mind is too very great!" Mind Master yells then Dash pulls out an bazooka that he uses to defeat him.

"Where did he pull out the bazooka?" Raph asks them. "I have theories. None of them pleasant." Donnie said to him. "Oh, how fun." Jamey said as Raph turns the tv off while Mikey and Leo walk back. Mikey pretending to play a trumpet by making the sound. "Hear ye, hear ye!" Mikey yells making the others look at him. "We have seen the future, and it is larp." Mikey said to them making the group stare at them. "Larp: Live action role play. We dress up as our heroes, then finish our Mazes & Mutants game in the sewers." Leo said to them. "Cool! Sounds like fun." Donnie said to them. "Oh, that is what you two were doing in the kitchen." Jamey said to them. "Sounds like stupid. Count me out." Raph said to them making Mikey walk over to him. "Come on, Raph. If you play with us, I'll let you wear my +1 ring of awesome." Mikey said to him while he holds up the unicorn ring. "Oh, really? Can I? That would be so keen, Mikey. Forget it. I don't do rings." Raph said to him. "How about you girls?" Leo asks the sisters. "We were planning on hanging out together." Tasneem said to them. "Okay, that is fine so that's three votes to one. Let's larp." Leo said to them. "If we're gonna larp, we're gonna need costumes!" Donnie yells and the brothers run away to make their costumes.
