The Next Day

In The Sewer Lair

Cheyenne woke in the lab breathing heavily. "It's okay, Cheyenne." Cheyenne hears Donnie's voice making her turn to Donnie. "What happened? I blacked out when the mutant bit me in the neck." Cheyenne said to him while she rubs her neck. "You turn into your other self." Donnie said to her making Donnie look at Donnie's eyes and he looks like he was thinking about something. "Did I do something?" Cheyenne asks him making Donnie shake his nod 'No'. Despite the fact that she said she wasn't lying, Donnie doesn't want to tell Cheyenne what she said to him. "Donnie..." Cheyenne said taking his hand making Donnie look at her. "I'm fine." Donnie said to her with a smile. Donnie looks at Cheyenne then he sees Cheyenne's black eyes and pink pupils staring at him. "Donnie." Cheyenne calls him making Donnie closes his eyes and he sees Cheyenne's eyes were normal. "I'm fine." Donnie said to her while rubbing his eyes. Cheyenne puts her hand on Donnie's shoulder, Cheyenne causes him to look at it before he then holds it. Cheyenne slowly moves closer to Donnie and she hugs him making Donnie smile. In spite of the fact that Cheyenne is not sure what is wrong with Donnie, she will remain by his side.

Later Cheyenne and Donnie join the others who were in the living room. "I hate to admit it, but it looks like all of Mikey's comic book reading paid off." Raph said to them while Jesse was relaxing in Leo's arms reading a book with Leo reading over her shoulder. "And that was pretty clever to realize that Squirrelanoids were attracted to the scent of food." Leo said to Mikey while he was holding Jesse close. "Actually, that was pretty obvious." Cheyenne said to them. "I can't believe I didn't think of it." Donnie said to her making Cheyenne laugh a little. "Not everyone can be the brains of the outfit." Mikey said to them while Tasneem was reading one of Mikey's comic books. "And have any of you considered, what if one of those creatures manages to escape?" Splinter asks them as he walks into the room. "No worries, sensei. Those giant nut-loving freaks are gone for good." Raph said to him with a smile. "Um, actually a bunch of sequel comics came out." Mikey said as he shows the group the sequel to his comic book. "The aliens come back." Mikey said to them. "I am going to act like I didn't see that." Cheyenne said to them while Raph looks over at Jamey who was rubbing her eyes. Raph looks at Spike who was hiding in his shell. "You okay?" Raph asks Jamey who looks at him and Raph sees her eyes were blood red. "I'm fine, my eyes are hurting me." Jamey said to him as she blinks then her eyes were back to normal. "Okay." Raph said to her getting worried about her.

Later that night, Raph wakes up in his room hearing something making him sit up in his bed. Raph looks around his room to see Spike hiding in his shell. "Spike." Raph calls him then Raph hears something from outside of his room. Raph grabs his sai and slowly walks over to the door. Raph rises his sai ready to attack as he opens the door and he sees Jamey standing here with her eyes blood red. "Jamey." Raph said as he caught her when Jamey fells. "What's wrong?" Raph asks her as Jamey starts to slowly change into her monster. "GUYS!" Raph yells for the others making Donnie the first one to run in to see Jamey's body changing. "Cheyenne! We need the needle!" Donnie calls her as he walks over to Raph. "Hold her down, Raph." Donnie said to him. "But...." Raph said to him making Donnie cut him off. "Raph, if we don't hold her down she will destroy the lair." Donnie said to her making Raph hold and he lays Jamey on the floor. Donnie sees Jamey's teeth were getting sharp by the second. "That's new." Donnie said to himself. "What?" Raph said to him making Donnie look at him. "Her teeth are getting sharp like when Jesse had blades coming out of her hands. It's like the monsters are evolving." Donnie said to him as Cheyenne runs into the room with two needles with the others behind her. Cheyenne kneels down and stabs the two needles into Jamey's arm. "What is going on in here?" The group hears Splinter making them turn to see Splinter watching Jamey turn back to normal. "For some reason, Jamey was changing." Donnie said to Splinter who kneels down to Jamey. "We need to find a way to stop this before it spirals even further out of control." Splinter said to them while Raph holds Jamey closer to him.
