Lydia's POV:
"I see you've adopted the compliment I gave you yesterday." Stiles says, glancing at my dark red skinny jeans. I stare at the ground, attempting to hide my blush."Yeah I guess." I mumble. He grins and we step foot inside of Forever 21. Immediately, Stiles walks over to the girl section and starts examining the graphic t-shirts.
He looks over to where I stand in the doorway and motions for me to join him.
"So do you shop for girls all of the time?" I ask him."I'm not shopping for you... I'm helping you get a wardrobe makeover. You'd have a say in whether or not you like something. And of course you'll try everything on." He waves his hands dramatically.
"Like in Pretty Woman?" I ask.
"What? No. It's nothing like Pretty Woman. First of all, you're not a hooker and I'm not that rich."He continues flipping through articles of clothing, placing certain pieces in my arms."Yes but I'm a nerd and you're popular. Sounds a lot like Pretty Woman."
"All you're doing is trying on a lot of clothes and I'm going to pay the bill."
"That's exactly what they did in Pretty Woman." I argue, bouncing up and down on the balls of my feet."It's not like Pretty Woman." He glances at me. "Stop fidgeting."
I scoff, a smile spreading on my lips. "We aren't going to sit down and discuss salad forks, are we? You're not going to play piano? You should probably tell the store clerks to suck up to me. Offer them an absurd amount of money to do so.
Let me guess, George Kastanza is probably your lawyer, right? Tell Darrell to check his left pocket! By the way, I hate the opera so don't even try." I rant.
He sighs. "You look nothing like Julia Roberts.""We both have red hair."
"Really? Your hair kind of looks strawberry blonde."
"Touché." He places a pair of floral skinny jeans on the top of the pile of clothing in my arms. I nearly collapse before he shoves me into a dressing room. The first to try on was a navy blue and white striped jumper. It was sleeveless, the shorts not too short and very nautical. I smiled and examined myself in the mirror before emerging in the small room outside of my stall. Stiles sat on a small red love seat, his eyes glued to the ground until I came out.
He grinned and I did a little twirl, grabbing a straw sun hat off of a hook and placing it on my head.
"Beach anyone?" I asked, letting out a quick chuckle."Alright knock it off. Go. Go!" Stiles laughs and I reenter the dressing room.
Throwing on skinny jeans and a light blue button up I reemerge and Stiles studies me for a moment."Nice, but..." He stands and joins me. "Roll up the sleeves midway." He does so for me. "And brown belt above the waist." He grabs one off of a hook and reaches behind me. I suck in my breath as his hands make contact with my waist. I smile and look in the mirror when he finishes.
"Not bad, Stiles." I mutter.

Stiles POV:
We had walked around the mall almost all of the school day and Lyida now held eleven shopping bags. There was something I hadn't gotten her though."I don't like dresses." She complains and I roll my eyes.
"You need to own at least one dress." I pout. "Just let me get you a dress!"
"Stiles, I think you've gotten me enough." She glares."At least try one on? If you like it, I'll get it. If you don't, you never have to touch it again." I insist. She sighs and walks into the dress store.
After looking for about half an hour, I finally shoved her in a dressing room with a blood red dress. Now I sat. And waited. Until she finally emerged.
I stood and my jaw dropped slightly. The sleeves barely covered her elbows and the skirt flailed out at the waist stopping just above her knees. Her hair was still in a side braid and she still wore her glasses and Keds but... She looked beautiful.
