Still Sunday-Lydia POV:
"We brought food!" Scott and Allison barge though the front door without knocking, two large bags of Doritos in Scott's hands as he closes the door with his foot.
Stiles chuckles and grabs one of the bags from Scott. "You brought chips not food."Non the less, Stiles rips open the bag a pops a couple of Doritos in his mouth as they walk to the kitchen. I stay planted on the couch, wrapping my towel tighter around my body as Allison finally spots me.
"Did you take a shower or something?" She laughs, handing me a pile of clothes."Yes." I answer simply and she purses her lips slyly. "I like to be clean, Allison. You dirty minded freak."
At the word dirty, both of the boys look our way and I throw them an awkward smile before standing and heading upstairs to change.I slip on the burgundy sweater and jeans then head back downstairs where my friends have all gathered around the kitchen island.
"Allison, you wouldn't mind if I stayed with you for a while... Would you?" I ask.
She shrugs, placing a Dorito in her mouth.
"Ma maison, est ta maison." She speaks proudly and we all stare at her."It means 'my house is your house' in French. Aka you can crash in the guest room for a few days." She translates and I give her a smile in thanks.

Monday-Lydia's POV:
Allison and I didn't stay long at Stiles house because she insisted I explain to my mother that I just needed a little time away from her.
Speaking of time away, I'd told Stiles that forgiveness wouldn't come easy and that he should just stay away for a little. Not away away... I mean I'd let him say hello or maybe ask me a problem about math but no movies, no study dates and barely any Stiles. Which was nice, but I desperately wanted to attend a lacrosse game without having to see him.
"Hey." Stiles walks into English, taking his usual seat behind me and I turn around to face him. He looks a but surprised that I was going to talk to him.
"You haven't seen my book, have you?" I ask and he blushes.
"Y-Your book?"
"Yeah... You know the one I'm always reading in class... I've read it almost thirty times. It's my favorite." I explain. He looks down at his desk, something similar to guilt crossing his eyes.
"Can't say I have." He mumbles.
I glance at him one more time before turning around and facing the board.

Tuesday, lunch- Lydia's POV:
"Happy birthday!" Stiles joins Allison, Scott and I at our usual table, placing a pint of strawberry ice cream in front of me.
Cautiously I grab the spoon from his hand and open the container."My birthday is in October..." I take a bite of frozen heaven and Stiles shrugs.
"I may be sucking up to you for that apology, a little bit." He stares at me, dead serious and I glance and Scott who shrugs."It's August anyway... Close enough, right?" He pulls a bag of Cheetos out of his backpack and starts frantically eating them.

After school, still Tuesday- Stiles POV:
She was driving me insane. The way she'd barely speak to me. The way she'd flip her hair in front of my face. I was dying inside and desperately wanted to be with her.
So maybe I'd lied to her about the book because maybe, maybe, I had kept that book and already read it three times in the past two days.It was a part of her and I'd wanted to know what she constantly read, cover to cover, day after day. The book was called The Warden and the pages were wrinkled, the paperback covers curling. It was almost ancient. The thing that struck me the most was there was no authors name.
