During the time where vampires and othe supernaturals walk in plain sight, spreading chaos and death in their wake, the legend of a human spread. He was feared for he has the strength and blood lust to kill a vampire. With his ice cold eyes he could paralyze you where you stand in fear, too afraid that you wouldn't feel death come upon you. It is said that he was able to kill a whole coven of vampires without even a scratch in his person. at the mere sight of him vampires flee, thus he was called the slayer.
"But despite his terror he is the only person your uncle fear and could defeat him." said the old vampire woman to the child listening to her in the darkness of the room.
"Will he really help us nanny? Will we finally be released?" Said the little girl sitting at her nanny's lap.
"My little queen if only his opinion of us vampires will change. Humans must know that not all of us are like Lord Servius, your uncle." She assured her young charge. "Especially you princess, you have a heart of gold and the rightful ruler of our race."
"I wish mommy was here. She would know what to do" she said. The little girl looked at the full moon thinking of her lost mother.
"My little queen we cant do anything about the past but we can change our future. You are our only hope. You are the last of the Blood Sorceress line. The most powerful vampire ever to held magic. You must live to lead our people to peace."
The little girl shifted in her seat, winced as pain lanced through her arm. Her nanny noticed it and gently revealed her arm under the long sleeves. There were wounds some old and new and bleeding.
"Oh my poor little queen this one haven't healed again" the nanny looked at the little girl with sadness in her eyes.
"It's fine nanny. It will heal in a moment! Dont worry!!" the little girl pulled her hand to hide the wound.
"Here. Have my blood! it will help" the old woman presented her wrist and made a small slash. The scent of blood made her fangs dropped and her stomach rumble with hunger. The little girl tried to resist but her nanny just persuaded her to drink.
The little girl punctured the skin and sucked the offered blood until she the hunger abated.
"There, thats a good girl." The old woman cooed at her little charge.
Suddenly the door to their small room opened and tall, gaunt looking man entered followed by two big scary men. The nanny stood and place the little girl behind her, shielding her from him.
"Ah, it seems that my niece is feeling better tonight isnt she Delia?" The gaunt looking man said.
"She is still weak Lord Servius" Delia replied.
"Nonsense! Why she can stand in her own two feet! Come my dear Aleah, come to your uncle." He called.
When Aleah made no move to come forward Servius yanked her and slapped her hard that she fell. Delia tried to go to her but she was stopped by the guards.
"When I say come to me you will come to me you little brat! I will not tolerate disobedience from you!" He said.
"Yes uncle." Aleah said with tears in her eyes. But the man wasn't satisfied he backhanded her again and drew blood because of the ring he was wearing.
"Drag her to the courtyard for the ritual." Then he left the room while the guards picked up Aleah.
The guards dragged her to the courtyard where at the center there was a pentagram. The moon was high basking every vampire in the courtyard in light. Aleah looked up at the moon as if seeing something. Then she smiled despite the blood on her face and the pain in her body. She stood up, took her necklace and touched it to her bleeding face. The moment blood seeped into it transformed into a beautiful dagger with a red blade. She used to slit her wrists not even wincing as the blood flowed in large volumes on the floor.
You would think that how could she survive with such a huge amount of blood loss but this is just normal for her lineage. So when the blood seeped into the floor forming the blood pentagram Aleah began to sing.
The voice of an angel could be heard as power flowed from the moon into her then as the conduit she sent all that power to all vampires across the land. This is Blood Moon Ritual. The sacred ritual that keeps vampires alive. As the song ended Aleah slumped down and fainted.
Next thing she woke up to tears dropping in her face. She saw the teary face of her nanny crying.
"Why are you crying nanny?"
"Oh my little queen! Im so glad you're awake! You've been asleep for a week!"
"Im sorry nanny. Please dont cry I wont try to so it again."
"No my little queen i was just worried that the ritual has become too has become to hard for your little body."
Aleah squirmed out of her arms and stood up and smiled her bright smile at her beloved nanny.
"Look nanny! I am fine! No need to cry or worry please?"
"Oh my little queen you know that worrying for you is the only reason im here. I will always love my Ali." She pulled Aleah into a hug and snuggled at her, comforted by her small form.
"Nanny will you pleas tell me more about the slayer please????" She asked cutely that her nanny giggled but the she became sad.
"Whats wrong nanny?"
Her nanny sighed and said "He was captured my little queen. Since the ritual he has been in the dungeons being tortured and drained of blood. It is miracle that he is still alive after all this time."
Fear crept into the red eyes of Aleah. She suddenly took her nanny's hand and dragged her to the door of their room.
"We have to go him nanny! He will die nanny we must do something!"
"What will you do?" Asked Delia.
"What i must do to save people."
