Chapter 1

Rain's POV

Pain

Suffering

Hatred

Anger

Death

Those are the words that are running through my mind as I lay down in the cold floor of the dungeon, broken like a piece of glass.

I dont know how many hours, days, or even months have passed. It felt like I've been here forever. I cant even move my body everything is broken and every part of me is open. I'm bleeding, I'm dying, this is the end for me.

Suddenly the sound of the cage door was opened and i heard soft patter of footsteps toward me. I couldn't move a single muscle because of the pain. I was waiting for pain to be inflicted when I felt the cool touch of a small hand against my bloody cheek. The the next thing I know I'm staring at a little girl with blood red eyes and long white blond hair. There were tears in her eyes as she continued to caress my cheek. It feel so wonderful that I dont want her to stop.

"Who....are....you?" Was all i could say.

The little girl smiled and it seemed like everything will be alright.

"Please forgive my kind. Not every one of them is evil like those who captured you." She said.

I realized with what she said that she is a vampire.

"Listen carefully my lord, you are our only hope. You are the only who could free my kind from the cruelty of Servius. Look for Lord Alistair the leader of the rebel vampires, he will help you. No matter how long it takes my lord I will wait for you. I believe in you. You are my only hope. So please forgive me for what must be done."

I didnt understand what the child said but the next thing I know is she took out a dagger with a red blade and slit her wrists. Blood flowed from her wrists into my mouth. It tasted sweet and I drank a lot then I heard her voice. She was singing in a language I couldnt understand. Then I felt a burning sensation that started in my stomach and spread throughout my body. I almost screamed in pain but her beautiful angel voice was drowning it out. My body convulsed as the pain become unbearable. I could feel my bones cracking back into place and my wound closing with a sizzle. This went on for I don't know how long.

Finally the pain subsided and I realized that the red eyed girl was nowhere to be found. And then I noticed that my eyesight suddenly became clearer, I could smell a lot of different smells and hear a lot of voices. Everything became clearer. I looked down and saw that I could move and I noticed a red bladed dagger. Finally I can escape!!
