I smile at Liam's kind words as my phone begins to ring. I pick it up from the table it was sitting on and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey. I'll be there in 20." Theo's voice rang through the phone.
"Okay. I'm ready." I literally think he can feel my smile through the phone.
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."
"He'll be here soon."
"I'm so happy for you." Kira smiles at me.
"Thank you guys so much for making me look like this."
"You always look like that. Beautiful as always." Malia steps forward, pulling a piece of hair out of my face.
I sit down at the kitchen table and cross my legs, still feeling a little nervous about the robot I saw today.
Liam comes in and sits down next to me. He grabs my hand for a second and I look up.
"If you need anything, you call me."
I run my thumb over the top of his hand.
"I'm okay, Liam. Thanks."
He lets go and looks to the ceiling.
"Can we take pictures of you and Theo when he gets here?" Kira asks.
"I'm sure he won't care."
"I'm so happy for you."
"You've told me like 20 times!"
A knock is heard at the door and Liam gets up to answer it.
"Hey Liam."
"Hi Theo."
"Where's Kelli?"
"In the kitchen."
"Hey." I step out of the kitchen and see him, starting to smile.
He was wearing a nice black shirt and some nice tan jeans.
"Wow. You are beautiful."
"Thank you, Theo."
"Do you mind if we take pictures?" Kira walks out.
"Not at all."
Theo walks over to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. He has a nice smile.
I look up at him and the camera flashes. I smile and another picture is taken.
"Thank you guys."
"Are you ready to go?" Theo grabs my hand.
"Yeah. See you guys later." I wave.
"Have fun!"
"Don't destroy my house." I smile to them, seeing Liam laugh a little.
"Bye Liam." I give a smirk and wave a little.
Theo opens the door and we walk out. I couldn't help seeing Liam in the window, not looking away.
"We are going to have a great time." Theo opens my door to his truck and I hop in.

Theo stops at a gazebo in the middle of no where.
"What is this?"
"Don't look. Close your eyes."
I close my eyes and he begins leading me somewhere. I feel a breeze on my back as we walk farther and farther into the wilderness.
"Open them."
I open my eyes and see a candle light dinner with a bottle of wine and roses.
"Theo, you didn't."
"I did." I sit down at the table he had in the middle of the gazebo.
There was a beautiful lake behind it, that was lit by the moon.
"It's so beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you."
I chuckle as he pours me a glass of wine. I take it up to my lips and sip at it.
"Never had wine before?"
"I have, not this kind. It's delicious."
He takes out a basket of food and lays out some pasta and bread.
"Did you make this? It's scrumptious."
"Yeah. Thanks." He laughs.
"So, where do your parents work?"
"My dad is a construction worker and my mom works at the public library."
"My dad was a construction worker."
"What happened?"
"He died on the job." I set my silverware down.
"Oh, God. I'm so stupid, I'm sorry."
"That's okay. It happened a long time ago."
"No. I wouldn't want anyone to talk about that to me." He gets up and sits closer to me.
"It's not a touchy thing, it's really okay. I don't want to ruin anything."
"You aren't ruining anything, Theo. You need to know some things about me."
"I know something that will cheer you up."
"What?"
"Come on."
He walks away from me and I follow him, but end up losing him.
"Theo? Where are you?"
I grab my phone and see I have no reception.
I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and I begin screaming.
"Hey it's just me." Theo laughs and runs.
"Theo my phone is in my pocket." He grabs it and tosses it to the table. It lands perfectly on his coat.
He runs straight into the lake and I go underwater.
"Theo, my dress!"
"I'll get it dry cleaned, calm down. Let's have fun."
I kick my feet underwater, trying to stay closer to him.
"I just bought my chucks, Theo. I hate you."
"Well, I'm sure I hate you more."
He pulls me out of the water and we walk to the gazebo. He grabs his coat and puts it on my shoulders. He hands my phone to me and I slip it in the pocket in his coat.
"That was fun."
"It's getting late, do you want me to take you home?"
"Sure, I might have to wash my hair." I chuckle.

Theo's truck approaches my house, seeing someone was in there.
"Do you want me to walk you up?"
"Sure."
I hold his coat on my shoulders, feeling my hair and dress. They were pretty much dry, but they smelled very weird.
"Thank you so much, Theo. That was amazing."
"Maybe I can take you again, sometime."
"That'd be great."
"Goodnight, Theo."
He grabs my face, pulling some hair behind my ear.
"Kelli, I-"
"Don't be afraid."
He pulls closer to me and his lips touch mine for a few seconds. I hold my arms around his neck.
"Goodnight." I walk inside and he begins to walk to his truck, waving before he entered the car.
I turn around and see all the girls.
"Oh my god! Hey!!" They all walk over to me and hug me.
"Hey. You guys are really still here?"
"Yeah of course."
"I don't want to be rude but you kinda stink."
"We took a dip in the lake."
"Ooo."
"And the best part ever?"
"What?"
"He kissed me." I jump up a little.
"Yay!!!"
"Ok, okay. I need to go get some sweats on."
"We are gonna go."
"Okay. See you guys later."
I walk upstairs in my room and take off my dress, pulling on my pajama shorts. I grab a sports bra and a blue shirt and walk back downstairs. I see Theo's jacket on my couch and smile a little.
"You kissed him?"
I jump, seeing Liam.
"God, Liam. You scared the shit out of me."
"Did you?"
"He kissed me."
"I can't believe this."
"Liam, what?"
"You kissed him."
"So?"
"He could be some sort of psycho freak."
"Please stop. Can you please be happy for me?"
"I don't know."
"Please just go."
"Fine."
I sit on my couch as he storms out the door, beginning to feel tears running down my face.
