Lacrosse practice seemed so short with Theo there by my side the whole time. He even grabbed my hand about half way through the practice. The boys looked over at me several times, making sure I was still there. I smiled and waved every time, wanting them to pay more attention.

Theo looks over at me and smiles as we walk to the parking lot with the boys by my side.
"Nice job today guys." Theo looks over to them, still holding my hand.
"Thanks Theo." Scott thanks him and gives me a happy face.
Stiles pulls out his phone and puts it up to his ear.
"Lydia? What's wrong? What?"
"What's going on?" I walk closer to Stiles, letting go of Theo's sweaty hand.
"She said she saw some sort of robot in her room. Like you did yesterday, Kelli."
"You didn't tell this to me." Theo grabs my arm, worried.
"It seemed so real but it wasn't."
"What snapped you out of it?"
"Lydia."
"Have any of you seen these things before?"
"No. But it sounds so familiar." Stiles types something into his phone.
"Where?" I feel Theo's arm fall to his side.
"It's a novel."
"What?" Scott walks over to his side, peeking at his phone.
"It's called "The Dread Doctors" "
"They do kinda look like doctors." I tap my head, feeling stupid.
"Is this what they looked like?" Stiles shows me his phone.
"Yeah."
"Let's get to Lydia's. I can take you." Liam walks over to me.
"That's fine. Theo and I can meet you all there."
Liam frowns at me and walks away.
"One second, Theo. I'll meet you at your truck."
"Okay." He leans down and kisses my cheek.
I giggle a little and run up to where Liam was.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"What? What did I do this time?" He folds his arms in front of him.
"You get all upset just because I want to ride with Theo."
"He seemed to be really close over there."
"He asked me, Liam."
"He asked you what?"
"To be his girlfriend."
"And you said yes?!"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"You just met him."
"If things get bad, I know what to do Liam."
"Just be cautious."
"I will. See you later."
Scott hits my shoulder playfully.
"Nice job."
"Shut up." I smile, approaching Theo's truck.
I hop in the passengers seat and look at him, him staring right back.
"Stop staring, that's so rude." I mumble under my breath, looking down.
"You are just so beautiful, Kelli."
"Why thank you."
He grabs my face lightly and runs his cool fingers over my cheeks.
"I can't believe you are mine now." He stares into my eyes for several seconds and then looks down. He begins staring at my lips as he wet his with his tongue.
"Okay, I guess if you are going to do that."
He smiles as I pull myself closer to him, inches from his lips.
"We should go."
"You are gonna be that way?" He seems sad.
"Might as well." I buckle my seat as we pull out of the lot.

Lydia wasn't herself when we got there, she seemed out of it, almost like we weren't even there.
"Lydia." I snap my fingers in her face several times.
"I won't." She whispers under her breath.
"You won't what?"
She jumps, looking up at us.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"You called us." Stiles sits next to her., holding her shoulder.
"I saw a robotic looking person."
"We know Lydia. They are called the dread doctors. Someone wrote it. I think we should read it to find out what we are dealing with." Stiles taps something on his phone.
"What are you doing?" I look over to him.
"I ordered the book for all of us."
"Is this some sort of book club?" Theo laughs.
I laugh a little and shake my head.
"One serious book club."
I look to Liam, that was sitting in the corner of the kitchen, tapping on the counter. He sees I was giving him eye contact and he stares to my side.
I look up to what he was looking at, obviously it was Theo.
I look back to Liam and see he was gone.
"I'll be right back guys."
"Where are you going?"
"Just to look around. I'll be back." I look at everyone.
I walk outside and smell the air. I could smell Liam, I just didn't know where he was.
"Liam, come on."
"What? I don't want to watch you and your boyfriend stare at each other all day."
"It's better than a lot of other things we could be doing."
"Ew."
"Yeah, see."
"Are you going to invite him to all of our lacrosse practices?"
"Why not?"
"I don't know. I don't really care either. I could care less if you came."
"Thanks."
I look up and see it looked dark out for it only being 4.
"What the hell?"
"Maybe it's rain, Kelli."
"It sure rains a lot here. I miss being in the city."
"Really? I think beacon hills is great. Besides all the monsters running around."
"Us being one of those monsters."
"Hey. You're not a monster."
"Yes I am."
"You are much better than I am about controlling."
"It could get worse, Liam. I hope it doesn't. I don't want to hurt anyone."
"You might have to."
I sit on the porch of the house, looking out at the fields of grass.
"What if I don't want to hurt someone?"
"That may be hard. I'm sure Scott didn't want to bite me, and I'm totally sure I didn't want to bite you."
"It's okay. It was an accident. And if you wouldn't have, I would've never met any of you guys. You guys are my world."
Liam smiles.
"I love having a small group of friends. Especially when I can trust everyone."
I smile at him and nod.
"That's one thing that is better here than the city."
Theo steps outside and taps my shoulder.
"Sorry to interrupt but I think I should get home."
"You want to come by my place?"
"Maybe later. I have to go. It's family stuff."
"Okay. Be safe." I walk over to him and he brushes hair out of my face.
I smile a little and let him have what he wanted. I place my lips on his for a slight moment and pull out.
"God, I love that." He says as he enters the car, smiling all the way.
I wave as he pulls out of the driveway.
I look back to Liam, looking to the ground.
"Sorry about that."
"About making out with your boyfriend in front of me? No it's cool."
"Liam, please. I-"
"You what? You love him?"
I don't answer.
"You do love him."
"It's too early to say that!"
"Whatever."
"Liam. I can't."
"You can't what?"
"I can't do this. It breaks my heart. I hate fighting with you, especially you."
"Why?"
"You- you mean a lot to me. Okay? Is that what you wanted to hear?"
His eyes widen a bit as he sees tears fall down my face. I hated crying in front of people, it made me feel guilty for pity.
He begins walking towards me, but I didn't want it.
"No. Please. It's okay." I breath in all the snot and wipe the tears.
"No. You won't go through this alone."
He walks into my arms and holds me. I hold him back and put my head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry." I whisper in his ear.
"What are you sorry about? I should be sorry for making you cry."
"You didn't make me cry. I just realized a few things, that made me."
"What did you realize?"
"We are all going to die."

I sit in Liam's small car, my hood up on my head. I went inside for a while and got really tired, and decided to come out here to get some sleep. The car got really chilly after an hour or so. I got yo and walked inside, seeing everyone deep in thought.
"What's up?" I yawn.
"Do you want me to take you home?" Liam stands up.
"I'm fine."
"No. Come on. I'll take you."
Liam never lost.
"Goodnight guys. See you tomorrow."
I walk back out and get into his car.

Dreads surrounded her, coming from every direction. She shivered in fear, waiting for her boyfriend to come and help her out of this one. No one ever came. She screamed and cried. All the Dreads approached her and each and every one of them placed a needle in her body. Several in her legs and arms, in her neck, on her toes. She felt nothing but pain, until she saw him.

I scream, sitting up in bed. Sweat rolled down my face as I peeled the sheets from my body. I grab my phone and see my mom had texted a few hours ago.

Mom: Sorry, my flight was cancelled because of a storm. Won't be home till tomorrow evening. If you need anything, money is under my bed in the case as always. Love you.

I don't bother typing back, seeing it was almost 11.

I dial a number on my phone and put my phone up to my ear.

"Hey. Are you okay?" I hear Theo's rusty sleepy voice on the other side of the line.

"No." I begin trembling in my bed.

"Do you need me to come over?"

"Theo, no. I don't want you to have to sneak out."

"My parents aren't home."

I bite down on my lip, hearing his truck roar in the background.

"I'll be there in a few minutes, hang tight babe."

"Bye."

So, he called me babe now? I shiver at the thought. I think I like it. I get up and unlock the front door for him to come in. I walk into the kitchen, grabbing my mom's alcohol. I pour a tiny bit into my mouth and cringe at the taste. It tasted old.

The door opens and I see sleepy Theo in a sweatshirt and sweatpants with a bag over his shoulder.
"Hey." He walks over to me, setting his bag on the ground.

He walks over to me, wrapping his arms around me. I hold him close. He smelled really good.

"What's the matter? You scared me."
"I had a nightmare."
"Have you been drinking?"
"I took a swig of my mom's tequila."
"Why?!"
"It helps the pain go away. I'm fine, Theo."
"Do you do that all the time?"
"No. Just this once."
"I'm here now. It's okay."
He hugs me again and looks to the hall.
"Where do you want me to sleep?"
"Umm. Do you want to share the couch? Maybe it's my bed that gives me the nightmares."
"Sure."
"I'll be right back."
I walk down the hall to the guest bedroom and grab a couple of blankets.
I walk back and lock the door, turning the light off. Theo takes his sweatshirt off, showing his white tanktop. I plop a pillow down and he lays down. I lay down next to him and he wraps his arms around me as I pull blankets over both of us. He sets his head on my shoulder. I could feel his breath on my neck, it tickling my ears.
"Goodnight babe."
"Night wolfie."
"Wolfie? Really?"
"I couldn't think of anything else."
"How about baby?"
"Eh, too cheesy."
"I really just like Theo."
"Me too."
I kiss him lightly and lay back down, feeling his breath ticking my ear again.
"I'm never going to get to sleep."
"Might as well do something." He sits up and grabs my face, kissing my face. He moves to my neck, then my arms.
"Theo, what are you doing?" I laugh a little at his soft lips on my collarbone.
"You aren't telling me to stop?"
"I like it."
