BOOK 1 FINALE

Liam and I continued to kiss each other, I could feel the pain disappearing. I peel away from his body, looking at his eyes. They were turning yellow.

"We should get out of here." I suggested as I felt my eyes turn back to yellow.

"That sounds like a good idea." He smiles a bit at me.

As we run out of the dungeon like place, I hear the mechanical noises again.

"Shit." I growl under my breath seeing the doctors coming toward us.

"Failure." They repeated over and over again, getting closer every time.

I look down, feeling my eyes turn yellow again. My claws come out and I look up, growling at the doctors.

"Kelli, we have to go now!" Liam says still running ahead of me.

I look to Liam and then to the doctors & knew what I had to do. I run towards the doctors, my claws and teeth sharp ready to attack.

"Kelli! No!"

I hear Liam slightly behind me, he screamed and screamed as Theo came out from behind the doctor, sticking his claws in my chest.

"I'm not a werewolf, you silly girl. I'm a genetic chimera. This should kill you for sure." I feel his claws move around inside my chest, poking at my heart.

"You will never win." I choke on blood coming from my mouth.

"Sure. See you soon."

"In hell."

I fall to the ground as he sticks his claws deeper in my chest, causing me to cry out. I lay on the ground, choking on my own blood. More blood surrounded me as Liam ran up, Theo and the doctors disappearing.

"I-" I couldn't speak, it only caused more pain.

"Shh, it's okay." A tear falls down my face as Liam cries.

He leans closer to me, kissing me lightly. As he kisses me, the pain releases and I feel relief. But as soon as his lips leave mine, I hurt all over again. Blood covering my hair, body, and now my hands. Liam lifts my head into his lap.

"Liam, stop." I choke up a bit more.

"It's okay, you can go. I'm okay."

I look up at him, seeing tears falling. One hits me on my cheek and I smile at him with the bit of energy I have left.

"I love you Liam Dunbar."

"Goodnight my love."

I lay there, sitting still. I look at the ceiling and see a light it gets closer to me, pulling me towards it. I feel my eyes get heavy and I close them, hearing screams of my past behind me.
