Chapter 3: becoming one like you

Lucy's POV

When I saw the sun up high in the air I new it was time to finally meet you like a normal person/fairy would do.

I got dressed in some of my favorite clothing, a dress with a white top with white ruffles falling over my shoulders, with a black belt right above my waist, followed by a a pink fabric flowing down right above my knees. I don't bother with my hair because my hair was flowing down to my lower back, with out a single tangle what's so ever.

I place the bottle in my hand, covering as much as I can of it. As I walk down my hallway once again. When I reach to my fathers room just about to pass it I hear my father talking to Sting's father, about the wedding. I press my ear up to the door trying to get a clearer sound of the conversation.

"We need the wedding planed for tomorrow !" My father speaks

I guess Sting's father didn't leave till the wedding was over

" I know Jude that's only a short moment till now, but I know you want to get rid of her faster, then this plan will work!" Sting's father speaks.

Tears leave my eye running down my face, falling down to the floor as I run for the wall. I pass by all the amazing things I saw yesterday, still enjoying it all as I run, running to the wall that will change my life.

As I pass by all the village people I bump into a large crowd , I continue to run, bumping into people as they push me back making my cry in pain a little in the inside.

I reach the wall in matters of seconds smiling because I know my new friend is on the other side. As I walk to the guard who is watching every person leave, I feel him glare at me a little harder then any other fairy passing through. But he doesn't pull me out he lets me pass through the wall. As soon as I was out I raced to the section were we encounter yesterday.

I finally reach the spot and there he was!! Sitting there with his blue cat in lap. His hair was as usual pink, and spiked up. He was wearing a white shirt that was loose around his body. The shirt was also tinted by a light blue dye, he also wore dark grey pants that wear loose around his waist as he sat. His wait was wrapped with a white belt holding up his pants.

His blue cat had just a little green bag in this back which was tied around his neck.

I walked behind a large tree next to them flew up to a part where I could rest, I open up my palm and there was the pink liquid in the bottle placed in my hand. I pulled at the plug that was snug as a bug in the back of the bottle. I managed to open it after a few minutes and it made a large popping sound.

It smell very sour, too sour for my liking. But I thought if I drank this I will be able to talk to him like a normal human.

"Down the hatch..." I whispered to my self.

I placed the rim of the bottle to my lips and force the substance down my throat. From the smell I thought it was going to be sour but however it was very sweet.

I looked at my body as it began to grow, after thirty seconds I stopped growing, I was finally a human size. I stood up to my excitement , not realizing I was still on a small weak branch.

Snap... Was what all I heard next.
I tried flying away, but I fell onto the ground very hard letting out a scream, as the branch left a deep cut at the bottom of my leg.

I stood up and looked at my small wound, wiping up the blood with a leaf.

When I was cleaned up I tried taking a step forward, when again pain shot up my leg. I fell on my side laying in the field of flowers. My breaths were heavy, and my heart was racing. I stared at the plant that was brushing against my face I sat up and watched as my hair flew in the breeze.

When the pain in my leg finally stopped I decided that should really get up, when suddenly I was lifted up by some strong arms, and was settled down on a rock next to me. A scream escaped from my lips, from his sudden action but his hand was clamped down onto my mouth and his other finger on his lips.

"I heard you scream and I came here to see what happen..." He said calmly

"I'm going to help you so when I remove my hand you are going not to scream ok?" He said removing his hand away from my mouth. When he does I keep my mouth shut so he doesn't find out its me, the fairy he met yesterday.

"My name is Natsu, and this is Happy" he said pointing his hand at him then to his cat.

"Thank you, Natsu, for helping me up." I say trying to hide my real identity.

"Where did you get that cut?" Natsu says rubbing my bleeding cut.

" oh just from the side of the tree." I lie

"I thought you fell off a branch, where were you sitting?" He ask standing up.

" up there." I confess

We look up to see where I fell, our heads were looking straight up, I guess I was pretty high up, to high.

"Thats a huge fall. Are you sure your okay?" He said still looking at were I was sitting.

"Yeah, I hurt just a little all over, from the fall." I say bringing the blood flow back to normal.

"Well, here how about I bring you back to your place and we can wrap that wound of yours" Natsu spoke with a huge smile.

"I don't know where I am... Sorry." I lie looking down at my lap.

"Oi, it's ok we'll take you back to our place." He said holding out his hand to me.

"Okay, but is that fine with you?" I speak standing up, grabbing his hand. When suddenly I try to fly as my instinct and fall on to him.

Luckily he didn't fall over he just caught me before that could happen. I was pressed against his chest, and are hands intertwined and my face covered by a scaly scarf that was around Natsu neck.

"Whoa, are you ok?" He ask helping me up once again.

"Yeah just tripped over a root or something else." I speak

"Well you might not be able to walk so I'll help with that." Natsu said with a grin as he lift me up and starts walking my head once again pressed against his chest. And starts to walk away from the area one large step at a time

"I really didn't sleep last night did I." I mumble to myself.

"Then go to sleep." Natsu mumbles back.

I can feel my face heating up and turning red so I close my eyes and drift to the darkness called sleep.
