Chapter 25: Dreams and Nightmares

Lucy's POV

All I could feel was pain, heat, and sadness. When I opened my eyes there I saw was the place my mother died. Flames were consuming the village that I was roaming through. I could hear the screams of people, and only see red. I could hear my mother behind me until a sword was slashed along her side. My eyes were filled with fear and tears. I ran to my mother's side and cried over her lifeless body.

"Don't go, I can't watch you die again." I sobbed.

"Live on Lucy, find an adventure that you fond in." My mother breathed one last time.

Natsu's POV

"What did you do to her!?" I shouted.

I heard Rouge chuckle and step forward.

"She's just reliving every nightmare that's been a reality over...and over again" he said in a snake like voice.

I look down at the blonde and there are tears flowing down her face. All across her skin I could see is her skin go from glowing to pale. I remove my blazer and wrap it around her body and lay her down in the snow. I sneer at Rogue and he smirks back.

"Let her out of it!" I yell, getting all fired up.

"Only if Mavis comes to save her I can not do anything to help her..." He says.

I then throw my fist at him filling his body with my fire, and watching his body fly across the garden.

Lucy's POV

My mother's face is then covered by a large shadow. I look up at the man to see his eyes red as blood, and his hair....

"Natsu?!" I mumbled.

I know this is just a dream, it not real, but this memory is...
So basically, Natsu killed my mother. Took her life away.

I feel pain through my body as her lifts me up by my hair. I scream as I come face to face with him.

"I'll let you live, I'll never kill a child, but just a love one in front of it.."

I fell to the ground along with this 'Natsu'. This time when I look up I see my father. His eyes on mother.

"Run Lucy!" Is what my father says as we start to run through the flames.

Soon everything stop and I'm freezing cold, I'm wet and I'm at the fallen tree...

Natsu's POV

"Salamander!!" I hear a husky voice yell.

I turn my head around to find ice and medal head.

"Gray! Gajeel!" I shout.

"Natsu!" I hear again.

Out of the dark shows gamp's 'little boy' Laxus.

"Lucy!" Gray shouts.

"Get her out of here!" Gajeel shouts.

I run over to her and lift her up into my arms and I start to run as fast as possible.

As I'm running I feel the vibration of many magic traps still clutching on to Lucy's dress.

As I sense a trap up ahead my body is then slammed into a tree and Lucy falling into my lap.

Lucy's POV

I felt pain through my body, mostly my back. My eyes were tightly closed so I wouldn't have to see anymore of this horrible nightmare.

"Lucy?"

My eyes flutter open feeling the cold snow falling on my face.

"Lucy!" The man shouts.

"Nastu?" I mumble.

"Yes!" He shouts.

I shove him away from me and take three large steps away from him.

"What's wrong Lucy?" Nastu ask.

My eyes fill with tear to what I say next.

"Get away from me..." I say getting up and start to run leaving him in the snowy night.
