Chapter 19: Goodbye

Natsu's POV

I drag the blond up on to shore panicking, feeling like I can't breath. When I set her down I place my head to her chest, I waited for any type of moment that will come down and save her... I couldn't loose her again. I don't know how long she was down there but she has to be alive... She has to be...

I shook her slightly, over and over again hopping she is alive. I press my two fingers to her wrist and stood still waiting for a heart beat. I knew I couldn't bring her back to the boat, she might die as I ran...
I then continue the shacking for thirty more seconds until I felt her move.

"Lucy?!" I yelled.

She then started to cough, a lot and she sat up straight only to fall again on to the ground. She held her hands to her stomach, she must be in a lot of pain.

Lucy's eyes then shot open and looked around, they darted past me and straight for the water...

Lucy's POV

I woke up in complete pain all over my body, I was gasping for air. It felt like my lungs were stopped by a magical  enchantment.
I felt my chest to not find my mothers necklace there, my eyes widen.

Is it gone?

I'm I not at the same spot as before?

I then sit up straight and look around... I'm still in the same place as before...
The tree, flowers, and still the stars are bright as ever.
My eyes pass over a dark shadow, causing me to freak out.

I then stand up and start to run to the water...

I need that necklace. My mind spoke.

As I ran across the large log I could hear that figure run after me. When I found myself at the end of the log I dive in feeling the cold water again.
My ears were aching by the time I was half way down the water.
When I was just getting my finger tips on the cold chain I felt my body being hosted up I screamed and let out all my air since I never got my mother's gift back.
When air was back into me I was slammed on the ground, my blond hair sticking to the grass.

"Are you crazy!" I man shouted at me.

"No..." I mumbled.

"I thought you were dead! Why were you in the water anyway!!" He shouted

"My, my mother-" I was cut off

"Don't answer that!" He shouted again.

I started to cry, I let my body shiver along with it, I couldn't do this anymore, I can't stop running away. I need to stay somewhere and stay there.

"I'll take you home now, but first, I'm sailing away for a year before I come back to this town, would you like to go?" The man asked.

I didn't know this guy, then why is he asking to run away with him, for a year?

"No thank you... I have friends I need to stay with."

I could feel the man being taken back from what I said, but I do. I need to stick with Natsu and his crew, besides run away with this stranger.

"You sure?" He ask.

"Yes.." I said bringing my head down.

"Well here's this, and goodbye.." He added a rude tone to the word 'goodbye' then to through a bottle at me making sure it didn't break.

When he finally disappears into the darkness I sat there looking up at the sky, tears flowing.

After an hour of laying I shot up know that Natsu must be worried sick about me, being out at 1:00 with no sign of return. I started to run to his ship hoping they didn't freak out.

When I got to the boats eyes started to fill with tears,  there was everyone... Gone.

The boat wasn't there anymore, it was out, on the dark horizon. The light lighting up there boat, seeing their happy faces made me cry....

"What happen?!" I sobbed running all the way home.

I slammed my room doors open and fell onto my bed and cried...
