Chapter 26: What?

Natsu's POV

Anger rose immediately as Lucy ran off into the snowy forest.
I stood up fast and started to run after her kettle the small flecks of snow melt on my face.

After running for a few seconds my eyes caught a small fleck of shine. I pounce on the shine and next I head a scream... This must be Lucy.

Lucy's POV

As I ran through the forest I could feel a strong animal following me. So I took a tight turn around a tree, right in front a pricker bush. However the large animal behind me forced me to turn around only to see its glowing red eyes.
I let a small scream escape from my lips as I pushed my face deeper into the thick snow.

"Lucy..." Said a voice.

I was so scared to turn my head, but I opened one eye to find a pink headed man pinning me down to the snowy earth.

"What?" I mumbled.

"What's wrong?" He shouted making me flinch.

"Nothing..." I mumbled again.

His body weight forcing me closer to earth was his way to 'spill the beans'.

"Tell me..." He said.

I new it, there was no way I was getting out of this...

"Two years ago my mother died..." I said looking up at Natsu.

"And in that dream I had, you killed her... You did Natsu" I said again with tears falling down my face.

Natsu's face was in pure amazement to my comment, then to sadness looking away.

"Oh." Was all he said, before lifting me up and over his shoulder. However I felt scared and I started to pound on his back with my fist.

"Let me down!!" I yelled now starting to kick his side.

"No." He replied blankly.

I smashed my nails into his shoulder blade a little harder than expected, because I saw his white top turn to a dark red before being slammed on to the cold earth.

"What was that for?!" He yelled placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Just let me be!" I yelled standing up my body freezing all over.

"Just leave!" He shouted so loud that I could physically feel my body break into man tiny particles.

But at that moment I felt anger rise in me so much that I walked over to Natsu and let my ears ring to the slapping sound before walking back to my house.

After some time of walking my feelings finally wake up and I drop to the ground with large tears rolling down my face, into the snow making little crystal of ice.

I leaned myself against the large tree and watched as the small snow blew away. I looked at my red hands and feet and blew hot air onto them. But it was more warmer than expected because when I looked up I saw a large figure sitting up in the tree eyeing me down.

"What are you doing?" I ask looking back at the ground.

"I was here first..." He said looking away.

I just get up and start to walk my ways home even though I do not know where home is.

"Do you know were you're going!" Natsu shouts.

"Yes." I lie hearing my echoes through the forest.

As I walk father and father into the growth of trees but body trembles as the cold air flew past me.

"Where am I?" I mumbled to myself rubbing my bare arms.

I soon find a large oak tree which will be easy to climb in this dress. As I reach for the first branch I feel one of my arms being dragged backwards falling down to the ground. When I look up again is to see that the tree it's self has been possessed. The vines whipping the air, and the roots flying out of the ground.

One of the vines whipped my arm leaving a small, yet painful cut. I stagger myself up to my feet watching as this tree move it's self.

My eyes were so wide that the cold air felt like it was directly to my brow eyes causing me to blink. When I was finally ready to run for it, one of the roots slammed down next to me flying me forward.

"Who's all behind this?!" I said to myself starting to pick up speed in my running.

But my running was not fast enough with these heels on. Do I rip them off my feet and let me feet touch the snowy lands. When I looked back all I saw was the shine to them as the forest closed that image up.

Trip...

I screamed falling to the ground hard. My body covered with snow. It was so cold that my body could not move anymore. But I knew were I was, I was right my my tree house. Yet I cannot move so my little pail body gives up falling to a deep, cold sleep.

"Lucy!" Said a faint voice.

"Lucy!" Said the voice again.

My body was no longer freezing cold but actually I was more too warm then cold.

I forced my eyes to open to the light of the sun.

"Lucy!" I hear the voice, much louder and with a light shaking.

When my eyes open my body is embraced by large arms. But I'm still outside...

"Lucy, are you okay?" Said the voice.

At the moment I don't know what to say looking up to the dark figure.

"Lucy?" Said the voice one more time.

"It's me..." He said again.

"Who?" I mumbled, squinting to the dark figure.

"Me...Natsu."

He shifts me upward to make me now sitting up.

"What happened?" I ask.

"That's what I want to know." Natsu said.
He then looks down at my red feet, I then pulled them under my dress. He then looks up at me with a confused face.

"What happened, and were are they?" He ask.

I stand up and start to walk the way I came from last night... I think.
Natsu then follows me to the tree I tried to climb last night.
And there they were right next to the stump.

"Oh, there they are." I say walking over to the tree.

As my hand slips under the heel band, my body is forcefully slammed to the ground leaving me with a loud scream.

"Lucy!" I head Natsu scream.

I try lifting myself out of the ground and got some progress but fell back to the ditch.

"Looks like we're stumped here..." I said a little too loud. Because when Natau heard he chuckled then fell to his knees laughing in front of me.

"Really..." I mumble.

Natsu then lights his fist and slammed it to the ground next to me and soon pulls me out.

"I'm glade you're okay." He said setting me on the ground...

Lolz took me two days to write this with school, sports etc. but I hope y'all like the chapter!!
